Not only is that the classic thing a ghost says, it’s also what you’re all probably saying because Movie Mindset’s second Spooky Season is officially over! Apologies for this one being late, but we go out with a scary good episode, bringing back Certified Vincent Price Expert Thedeath Damnel to review the third and fourth Price movies she’s ever seen: The House on Haunted Hill (Castle, 1959) and House of Wax (De Toth, 1953)!
We talk about how each movie artifice to enhance realism, the scariness of spooky skeletons, and, of course, the Grandaddy MC of the Haunted House himself, Vinny P! Hide under the covers, turn out the lights, and keep your gun coffin by your side because this one is a screaming good time! Mwahahahaha!

Damnel's observations on Price not needing a prestige vehicle to be brilliant is very apt. I would recommend "Madhouse" as another good Vincent Price movie, opposite Peter Cushing. Kinda meta in a way I don't normally like but it's solid throughout and the ending goes WAY off the rails in a way that worked for me. Dr. Phibes too

What's the connection or influence between Red Letter Media and Chapo? I don't think they've ever been mentioned, on either side, but seem to share some basic ideas and tastes. RLM an early influence on the Chapos? Any opinions to be found here?
