hahah the fun part is that for me it's not a side couple, it's the couple I've been drawing for 8 years before starting the comic :)) you can find a lot of arts of them in my IG if you're curious! and I also initially wrote their story as a potential comic but it was too big and scary for me so I've decided to draw a smaller one first and this way my comic was born. I really love Dana and Maya and I hope that it would be interesting to read their story! And also yes, I don't really want to make some kind of drama out of Remi and Luna's story just to make it continue but I haven't figured out yet what I want to draw to show their happy life in an interesting manner... But definitely not a sudden love triangle or illness or whatever drama you can imagine hahaha I'm kind of allergic of when it's happening in series I love

Expanding on the background of a new side couple is such a good idea to give those characters more personality while also giving us the readers more situations to go “Awwww” at haha It’s also really refreshing to have this detour from the main couple not feel like a burden because it’s much less drama focused (speaking from experience reading a recent arc of one of my favorite yuri series)
