I recently fell into the John Martin and his family’s rabbit hole, so i finally got the inspo to do this piece I’ve had in mind for ages. There’s something about how melodramatic can you make a landscape, how apocalyptic you can go while still having some melancholy.
I wanted to make this look like an old cassette tape getting faded using the white instead of usual black, that’s why i used so much noise in the rendering.
Anyway, will be starting the emergency comms this monday, thanks so much to those who got a slot and those that reached out simply to show support! Still one of those slots open if anyone still interested btw.
Also, working on a really interesting NSFW right now, might slide a WIP in the community chat tomorrow.
