You ever have your friend who you know is not a bad person do something weird af? Well, this is based on a real experience lol.
I felt like these two and their dynamic were perfect for this.
The composition is a direct homage to Norman Rockwell’s The Runaway piece. I know it’s used by police officers to convert their purpose of “protect and serve” which is only ironic, but for that reason I thought I could pick this one to be silly with.
So I had to have in mind to be respectful enough cause it’s a legend and one of my main references but it’s also a piece that has had its perception warped with the years so I can’t take it too serious.
