My feeling with the Sword in the Stone was that it shows that the world is bigger than just Himmel and the Party. Just like Kraft hinting that Himmel wasn't the first hero, he won't be the last. The passage of time doesn't stop for humans/humanoids.

Ah, I see, that makes sense, never knew that. I just know from karate that we called our trainer sensei as it was custom in Japanese karate. =)

Yeah, that is a good point as well. Someone else also suggested that nobody can pull it out and still going forward is what makes you the hero. I really like the sword in the stone in general, though. =)

Sensei means "one who came before". And while it quite often gets translated as "Teacher" or "Master" it is not a title, it is a suffix for a person which is an expert in a field of study and you respect for it.
Physicians are isha but you refer to them as Sensei
Comic Book Artists are mangaka and can be called Sensei
Lawyers are benkoshi and be called Sensei
School Teachers are Kyoshi and can be called Sensei
And Martial arts Instructors are Budo Shidosha and can be called Sensei

When it comes to trying to pull the sword, from the prophecy it sounds like there must be a calamity that requires using it. So for the prophecy to remain true, pulling when there is no applicable calamity would not be possible in the first place, regardless of who attempts it. In the worst case scenario, successfully pulling it may actually cause a calamity because that is the only way for the prophecy to become true.

An interesting theory Ive seen floating around is that the Hero's Sword might act as a filter - most people who fail to draw it would simply turn away, proving they aren't the hero. The real hero is someone who could fail to draw the sword and still keep going.
The ending of this had me absolutely sobbing. Stark doesn't run because he's a coward. He runs because it's an expression of love; his brother told him to live.
