New Plan Moving Forward - PATRON INPUT REQUIRED!!!
Added 2018-04-30 17:48:51 +0000 UTCHey, guys. So I've been discussing with some friends and fans about a particular issue. This past month, I've worked hard to catch up on work I'd fallen behind on since January. Currently, I'm all caught up, but I'm realizing that the time invested isn't worth what I'm being compensated for. When this was an issue previously, the price of comics rose from $80 to $95. I'd been advised to bump up the price again, but I'd like to avoid that for two reasons:
1) I've already made it a point to myself not to adjust the price much higher than its current cost.
2) This saves me no time.
Based on the conversations I've had, here are the changes I'm considering enacting a "cap" on the amount of comics produced per month to 7 or 8 pages. That means that any pledge amount above the corresponding pledge cost will not be used towards another page.
So where does the excess cost go? Some ideas I've been considering are as follows:
-Put money towards the Baby Fat game. This would cover costs for things such as new voice actors and would warrant early content releases to patrons.
-The excess costs could go towards new equipment to produce better content (e.g. a new computer, new programs).
-Funding other content creators to create content simultaneously, like another third-party Baby Fat comic.
This would clearly need some serious thought before I move forward with anything so I'd prefer to hear patron input. Please leave your thoughts and comments below.

But if you feel it's the best course of action, then go for it. Surely people won't blame you. Perhaps you can put the extra funds into getting a better flash program considering the problems you have with it.

2018-04-30 23:41:17 +0000 UTCThank you for your input, but that's not what we're deciding. Craving Control is coming up this upcoming May - what I'm trying to decide is what should be done with the extra cash, if I enact a page count cap.
