Bridges made of light.
Bridges of light was the first single of the band's 3rd album, “Maybe too late” and it was received with good reviews. When the two members of the band who authored the song were asked about its meaning and inspiration they replied that they didn't remember.
And of course that's not the most thoughtful thing someone has done for Diana, it just looks like it for her because she's high lol.
And it's back! Sorry this update took so long, December was a busy month,with all the work, and socializing and all that. Progress on the comic was slow but here it is.
And it features the Worn Down Children doing more classic band activities like, song writing, and more law breaking assuming that you can't in fact eat the food inside the store even if you're still gonna pay it later. That was something that I was told (An apparently Tak was too) but I'm unsure of its legal accuracy and a short internet investigation didn't really clarify anything.
So hopefully that won't get our heroes in trouble with another diet cop but he probably doesn't really care that much anyway, he was busy being notified about the cake.
For RJ and Zara's kiss I wanted to reference the Clone high making out meme but I got cold feet last second and then I drew something more modest which felt kind of boring so I ended up with this one that is halfway there.
Those two are really bad at keeping secrets. I mean how long did that last? But they're lucky. Not in that while Zara's estimation of Tak attention span which in the end didn't end up helping a lot but in that she's discreet.
It is something of a character trait that Tak has ADD and gets distracted easily. Maybe I haven't used it enough for it to be evident but it is there. Like giving Diana her drawing of her and forgetting one, or forgetting to lock the ladder well, or maybe even not noticing that the hotel bracelets had been changed, thought that one was on the whole band.
Anyway, after this batch the band is closer to the end of this adventure.

As I mentioned I had some trouble with this batch because of the December parties and all of that but I never really stopped working on it when I could and I hope to get the following ones faster, as I already have some of the comics I'll be doing after this one and I'm excited.
Right after this one I'll be doing some more shorter comics and in those I want to try some “serious ones”.
They won't be “Loss” serious of course but a bit less jokey, mainly to experiment with the tone for when I do the next long one that will be either an actual Christmas special or a Halloween one.
Or maybe none of this happens lol. You know how life is.

If the comic's dialogue and interactions while composing the lyrics are interesting enough then it probably won't matter much that viewers won't be able to hear any music.^^ And regardless of the medium, if weed factors into it like it does in this comic then that'll definitely make things even more interesting. ;)

X3 Update was definitely worth the wait, especially since every single page contains something highly (no pun intended ;P ) smile-worthy!^^ Yes even the fourth page, as the last panel can be interpreted as a bit of B3 teasing since it looks like Tony's not the only one checking out Tak as she runs off... ;) Purple-wooled sheep cashier getting a 29th birthday party and then a wish from Tony is very sweet that not even the otter nemesis being a no-personal-space creep to her can ruin, bandmembers getting high and then coming up with songs sounds like it could be a running theme, and fingers crossed that this is just the first of many cuddly romantic B2 (birb&bear) moments in the story! :D

And btw, it is legal to eat and drink the things in the stores IF you're going to pay for them. It's basic knowledge, even my parents know that lol. And also... I think this is the first time in the "canon" where R.J and Zara are caught making out... And hope it's not the last time either ;)
