See, RJ and Zara have a bit of a problem in that both of them are not great at cooking so they bought a cake. 

Don't take too much from this and no spoiler  but I think this picture happens a little bit later on Zara and RJ’s relationship.

Kinda like Diego's graduation though maybe a bit less than that one. 

See, through the comics I've sort of established that most of what we have seen of those two has been from the first 6 months to a year more or less but here we go a bit further away with Zara meeting RJ’s parents and look! She's so nervous. But she shouldn't be as, as RJ’s mom would put it “Oh Ruben, we're just happy to see you bring home a girl that hasn't had to run away from the police” 

“Well about that…” as Zara would reply before being interrupted by RJ. Point here is that the night transpired nicely and pretty uneventfully… Or did it?

Who knows I may or may not have a plot for it, but that's a story for another day… 

And as for RJ meeting Zara's Parents, well I'm also figuring that one out, but we'll see when I get there. I need to get quicker with the comics. I've thought about just flat out just writing stuff and just making a companion illustration but I'm not a great writer. My writing skills are divided in two languages so there's that.

This picture specifically I wanted to make since last year but until now I was able. 

The background is based on a round street in a fancy neighborhood close to where my grandma lived.  

“But… but Anatoli, you've done at least four Christmas themed pictures with the band, what do you mean it's only been a year?”

We'll see, the year refers to RJ and Zara's relationship specifically, but more importantly, my name is not Anatoli. Also, I'm using Venture Bros rules where the advancement of the story and the passing of the years are independent of each other. Don't think about it… I don't… Lol

Have you noticed that most if not of the Christmas pictures in this style I made this year are couple based? As in, featuring couples? Well, that was an accident. 

It just sort of happened lmao. There's one I wanted to make with Tak and her sister and mother that would break that trend but I couldn't finish it. First it was too complex and then I wasn't sure how to approach it but I may finish it anyway in January, I mean, why not? I'd do it now but I decided to completely take this next week to work on the comic.

There was also one I wanted to make with Alex and Taj but that one doesn't really needs to be a Christmas thing so I'll be doing it anyway next year hopefully.
