A quick follow up bonus page for Hey Teacher.
A bit more of the conversation Tina and Davo had shortly after from where the comic ended and we actually get to see Davo ask Tina out here.
I had mentioned in the original post that there was part of the original “script” that I had left out and now I’ve reworked it here.
It's the part where they are competing to see who knows the more obscure band and now I kinda wish I had found the form to include it in the original but honestly it works better here than the original script.
It started as more of an extra thing but it came up feeling more relevant to the original comic than what I thought and I really want to make this one public eventually.
I came up with some fake musicians and bands names because the joke I think is that it's impossible for you, the reader, to actually have heard of them. But they have.
This comic touches on a dynamic I had already played with before with these 2 in another comic, and that's Tina having encyclopedic knowledge of music. I like to imagine a younger Tina in her first college year getting really into partying and music, yet having always been a nerd, doing what she does best and facing this new interest as if it were an academic topic.
One of those names is a bit of a reference for another set of characters of mine but that's a story for another day.

I want to go over that one of these days but long story short, they're a local band Rita wants to play for.

XD If one of the names is a reference to another set of characters, then I'll go out on a limb to guess that the Sweet Pepper and the Billies band from the 60s is somehow related to Rita & Kite, or maybe even is them... ;)
