Halloween WIP

Work in progress for a Halloween Piece I'm doing with the band. This isn't necessarily how they’re gonna look at the end. I'm having a bit of a problem deciding on the costumes. The only one I’ve known since the beginning is Ghost RJ.

Since the moment I thought about Zara going as Barbie I thought it would make sense for RJ going as either Ken or Oppenheimer due to the meme, That’s why I decided on ghosts. It felt really silly, and I love how it looks.

The other one Is Tony/Tak going as two kids in a trench coat. I’m still not completely sold on it conceptually, but I love how it works in the composition.

Skeleton Lil sounded like great in my head but I’m not sure it’s working. Maybe with some touches to the costume but I’m also thinking she could go as a witch. Speaking of…

I feel Diana as a witch works well but it feels a bit too simple. I made an attempt for her to go as Columbia from Rocky Horror Show but it just doesn’t work without the rest of the cast. I’m also thinking about having them all go as the cast of Rocky Horror Show but that could be a different piece. It would be hilarious for RJ to go as Rocky Horror.

I usually have Davo going as a  musician in costume but this year I can’t think of one that totally convinces me. Last year I thought about repeating a Peter Gabriel one to celebrate the new album but unfortunately I had to cancel him for posting AI cringe. Man this year sucks.

Someone on twitter suggested Ash from Evil Dead, and I guess it works but I’m still not completely sold on it. I was also considering something like Akira, or repeating David Bowie.

I also tried Prince but it looked too silly. I was also thinking of a double one with Davo as Wayne and Garth, but is that or the trenchcoat. Hard decision honestly. Lol Davo is the one giving me more trouble.

And lastly Zara that I already mentioned is going as Barbie, it works but I have this feeling that there’s something better out there. But that’s maybe me being a weird perfectionist.
