#55 - desperate measures

This project was originally from around July 2017. It was also originally split into two separate projects, #55 - cornered and #55.5 - desperate measures, but I ended up consolidating the two. Just a bit of random trivia.

Both halves were part of the same commission. I remember griping about the original Worgen model to the very nice commissioner because of the difficulties I had with working with it. It was so bad that I told him it would be the last project I'd ever embark on with a Worgen in a starring role, and indeed that remained true until #82.

The Worgen still sticks out to me in a bad way compared to the Night Elf's much more detailed body, but this project has been rather well-received over the years, so if my followers love it, then I can grow to appreciate it too. But it's certainly still not a favorite of mine.

The setting is still somewhat interesting, particularly in the A-shots with them both on the ground. It's just very verdant.

Would I remake this? I would consider it actually, but probably not with a Night Elf cuz nobody likes NEs. Unfortunately. I guess an Orc or Kul'tiran can be in that Elf's place.
