Yes! This technically took 5 minutes* to create. It was a big surprise and it looks great, so why not share it?
Asterisks, asterisks. Mr. Hornyfang here was pasted verbatim from another project as a stand-in for one of the characters in *this* project (because I was trying to test out lighting). And of course the set itself is still in the process of being constructed, and that's taking a lot longer than 5 minutes.
But, the actual process of me setting the camera just slightly under Mr. Hornyfang, rendering out of the picture, applying touch ups and my post-processing techniques, then posting it onto my private Discord server did take approximately 5 minutes to complete. So as far as I'm concerned, this did take 5 minutes*.
You can tell it's a 5 minute* wonder because there are plenty of imperfections that I let slide by virtue of it being a 5 minute project. Like obviously that light by the barrel isn't something I would let anyone see in an actual finished project. And since Mr. Hornyfang was literally copy and pasted over, I didn't take the time to readjust his pose (or even his expression) to compensate. Etc. etc.
And despite all of that, I still think it looks great. I believe any hobbyist such as myself are capable of creating great looking things under a time crunch...so long as they know what they're doing. ๐ถ
