April State of the Union!

Hi patrons and followers! It's been a while since I've given a SotU and I wanted to give yall a shout and let you know what's going on!

March lasted for 2000 years and I'm sure we're all just....really really tired. I know things have been really tough for a lot of folks. At the beginning of March we were looking forward to a good profit at Emerald City Comic Con and things have sort of all fallen apart since then! Luckily thru online sales of books and merch, as well as thru continued support of patrons like you we made some money back so we're not completely at a loss! Hearing about other cons cancelling or potentially having to cancel this summer is definitely another setback that we can hopefully get thru. :\

Despite this all...this month was actually Banquet Patreon's most successful ever! We got a lot of new patrons here for Mostly Monster March and I'm really glad to see a lot of you sticking it out into April too! I am so so grateful for all of your continued support and I am going to do my best to bring you as much content as I can so you can feel like your pledge is worth it <3

While we're no longer in a special event month, I still have plenty of monster art ideas over on my Secret Patreon Reward Trello (tm) that I plan to get thru! I also really would like to increase my buffer of comic pages this month, so I'll probably focus a bit more on getting some of those out. 

Last month we also hit one of our goals: I promised to bring back the request thread now that we're getting more than $600 a month in pledges! (We almost got to $700, where the reward is published chapters of Hadrian and Bernard's saucy get-together story ;) Maybe next time!)

So after the SotU I'll be posting up the request thread for patrons again! Patrons at any tier can request sfw or nsfw requests, but nsfw drawings will stay behind $4 and $7 tiers as usual. 

I've also been considering a higher tier which includes all of the content in the $7 tier, but also would include monthly physical merch, a sort of mail club! I was hoping to start that in April but with the Covid situation going on I'm not sure how easy it'd be to get items printed and delivered, so I might hold off for a little while. If you think you'd be interested in that though, let me know! If interest is high I'd be more likely to get it started sooner.
