School of Lust v0.8.0b performance release!

Hi everyone!

The poll results from yesterday are in and it appears that almost a third of those who voted are having frame issues while playing School of Lust, which is quite alarming. We've been doing some investigating and while unfortunately we still can't seem to replicate it ourselves, we've decided to try to update the engine files and see if that fixes the problem.

You can download the new "PERF" (performance) version of the latest School of Lust version 0.8.0b for Windows from the Download Portal. It will appear as "School of Lust Win PERF".

The Mac version will be updated at a later point.

This should improve overall performance for everyone (according to other games made with the same engine), however we are not entirely sure if it will fix the specific issue with the random frame drops after leaving the MC's house. We would appreciate it if you (especially those who were having frame issues as described in this post) can download the PERF version and help us figure out if this new update fixes the problem or not.

It's also possible that the changes we've done to the engine may have broken other things. We've done some testing and everything seems to work as it should (and even appears to be smoother than usual on our side), but School of Lust is an expansive game so it's difficult to be sure without extensive testing.

We will continue to release the game from here on with the updated engine files, so if you're having any issues with it, please let us know and we will look into it or revert the changes. We will also do some extensive testing ourselves to make sure nothing else is broken.

Also, just a heads up that the "PERF" version of the game has a new icon (featuring Claire).
