Let me say what I always say when I get to this episode: Buffy should not have gotten kicked out her house that she had to come back from the dead to get a job for. Let’s say that everyone in that room was correct about Buffy decision making, she shouldn’t get kicked up. Go crash somewhere else then.

2025-11-10 05:58:47 +0000 UTCI honestly can’t even believe you only have three more episodes to go. It seems like an eternity ago that we sat down with you for the first time to watch Buffy. I will say that I think this episode was very necessary, to set up the final 3 episodes. But you’re right—that final scene is very frustrating. I completely agree with you that it’s not a black & white situation. Anya and Dawn both really pissed me off in this episode, and even Willow and Giles too. Faith was the only person in that room who I thought handled the entire conversation with a shred of dignity (which is really a testament to how hard she’s working to be a better human). But the core characters? The ones who have been with Buffy since day one? They should have at least defended Buffy’s character. Without Buffy, they would have been dead years ago. Does nobody remember the episode where Buffy never came to Sunnydale?! 😭😂 That being said, I’m extremely sad that our days watching Buffy together are numbered… but man, these next three episodes are so great and I think you’re going to be VERY satisfied with the ending. Also interested to know—once you finish the show—how on board you are with the revival series that’s coming to Hulu. I’d love to hear your thoughts on that, after the finale. Personally, I’m excited because SMG has expressed on so many occasions that she never wanted to do a Buffy revival unless she truly felt in her heart that they could do it justice. And with Chloe Zhao at the helm?! It’s gotta be epic lol

The first Evil IS The Lord Archon that Sophia made when entering the Lower Worlds. It's so cool how the writers uses Gnostic Theology, cause you don't see a lot of that in media these days.
