The song that Ross puts on when he's setting up the picnic with Rachel is by Chris Isaak. He was a popular singer in the 90's and played the guy who liked Phoebe and asked her to sing for the school kids a few episodes ago. Then the lady who thought Joey was really Dr Drake Ramoray was played by Brooke Shields. She started modeling when she a teenager and became an actress. Then Julia and Jean Claude appeared in the 2 episodes when Marcel was in town. I'm not sure if Matthew already knew Julia or if they met on set and then started dated.
