What If, Season 1 ..... I note that you have skipped the MCU TV animated show, "What If", Season 1. I am not saying you "really must/ought" to watch it ... This comment is a slightly spoilery description of that show, so that you can make an informed decision for yourself. Sorry about the light spoilers about the show, but I don't know how else to write this comment. The show consists of 9 (more or less independent) episodes, each exploring "what if" part of the MCU happened differently than it did in the movies - thus establishing more of the "multi-verse". The titles of the episodes in season 1 gives an idea of what you might be missing. 1 "What If... Captain Carter Were the First Avenger?" 2 "What If... T'Challa Became a Star-Lord?" 3 "What If... the World Lost Its Mightiest Heroes?" 4 "What If... Doctor Strange Lost His Heart Instead of His Hands?" 5 "What If... Zombies?!" 6 "What If... Killmonger Rescued Tony Stark?" 7 "What If... Thor Were an Only Child?" 8 "What If... Ultron Won?" 9 "What If... the Watcher Broke His Oath?" The one with the biggest impact outside of the series (so far), is the Doctor Strange episode, in that it helps frame the "Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness" movie and helps one recognise some variants of Strange in that movie. If you are reluctant to invest in watching this series because it is an animation and presumably targetted at children ... don't worry it is not (or not any more than the rest of the MCU!) It is well done, and gets a high rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
