i love the first episode, it's all about that one misunderstanding and about Monica and Chandler doing it in the closet... it's perfect 😂 i get that people don't like Joey being brought between Rachel and Ross so much, kinda "jumping the shark" Phoebe was not gaslighting Ross... she honestly assumed that he proposed.

2024-09-20 14:40:34 +0000 UTCI think Joey's crush in S8 was cute but I absolutely hate this storyline, and again, dragging out Ross and Rachel because of some stupid drama. I don't think Rachel is in love with Joey and I understand she's lonely and worried because of what Janice said but why she said yes to Joey I will never know. You don't marry someone just because you can't be with the one you really want. Anyway, it's interesting how Monica is the only one who can stop Emma from crying, which is the exact opposite to her half-brother Ben when he was a baby who only cried when Monica held him and stopped when someone else did it (specifically in 2x06). Goofs: It's strange that neither of Rachel's parents come to visit her in the hospital, especially since there was a whole episode about Rachel telling her father she is pregnant and then another where her mother was planning to live with them after the baby arrives. It is also strange that Carol, Susan and Ben would not come, especially since Emma is Ben's half-sister. However, it's likely the actors weren't available and they could have visited off-screen. When Rachel is trying to breastfeed, the nurse leaves the door open and doesn't ask her if she is okay with Joey in the room before she uncovers her breast. Nurses are taught to always respect the patient's privacy so she should have asked her if it was okay. At the end of E1, Ross noticed that Rachel that was wearing the engagement ring but Phoebe has already showed him the ring, so he should have known. However, it was before he knew about Joey and he did start to question whether he had actually proposed. In E1, Chandler asks Joey what Rachel's breast looks like but he saw both of them in 1x13 (though they would have changed/gotten bigger, especially after giving birth). In E2, Joey says he doesn't know what the "quote gesture" means. However, he has used it correctly and has been shown to understand it before. In E2, Ross says his birthday is October 18th but in 5x04 when Gunther asks him when he is writing down people's birthdays and Ross says it's in December. Ross's birthday has always been inconsistent throughout the show though.

2024-09-08 18:24:37 +0000 UTCYeah, some people like to say the later seasons of friends aren't good, but I think they're crazy. There are so many favorite, classic moments in these last seasons. Even when people complain about the Rachel/Joey stuff, I'm like... why? They don't date long term. I don't think it's uncommon for long-standing friends to get feelings for one another that may not go anywhere. Sorry this became a rant. haha tldr I AGREE
