With money, you could choose which candy to buy. The candy you get from people might include stuff you don't like, so I get that kid's logic. Also, video games! I was around that kid's age at the time this aired, and I remember having to beg my parents to buy me more games for my Playstation etc. Money's definitely a better choice, I think! :)

The honeymoon episode of Chandler and Monica had to be re-shot because in the original, they were in trouble at the airport. The original is on YouTube and also on season 8 DVD.

Or closing it???.... and leaving the door to the office OPEN....?....... this is seriously triggering ... in real life, all his colleagues would have send contorversial e-mails from his MS Outlook to everyone in the company, and the cleaning staff would have booked a deal with Mark Zuck (who's still at Harvard at this point) in Chandler's name just for kicks

2024-06-28 21:49:34 +0000 UTCE5 is dedicated to Courteney Cox's father who passed away from cancer a month before it aired. Also, E6 is the first episode shot after 9/11. Production was delayed for two weeks, because the table read for this episode was originally scheduled for September 11th. At the beginning of the episode, Joey is wearing a t-shirt bearing the logo of the Fire Department of New York. Lisa Kudrow has cited this as her favorite ep., partially because it was the first one they shot after 9/11 and people would thank her for still making them laugh in that dark period. In comic lore, Catwoman would always lose against Supergirl. After all, Supergirl is an alien with superpowers while Catwoman is just a normal human. Btw, I recommend the show Supergirl but it's better to watch Arrow and Flash first since they are all a part of the "Arrowverse" and even did cross-overs. Fun fact: The girl Rachel first gives money to instead of candy at the Halloween party (Lelani Mayolanofavich) is played by actress Emily Osment. She was in Hannah Montana with Miley Cyrus and is the sister of Haley Joel Osment, the kid from The Sixth Sense. Ross telling Rachel about how she'll feel the first time her baby grabs her finger is a nice callback to when he talked to Jack about the first time he felt like a father. Chandler's favourite book, The Velveteen Rabbit, is the same as Kathy's which he got for her. Interesting point about strength and masculinity. I definitely think it's okay to have a preference when it comes to things like that. Goofs: In E5, in Central Perk when Phoebe is trying to convince Monica not to fire Tim, right after Monica says "I paid to have this done" (the hair), when the camera changes and Phoebe replies "Love it", it is quite clearly not Courteney Cox in the shot but a stand-in. She even has her hair styled differently. People have only started to notice it in the last few years because the versions on streaming sites are widescreen, unlike when they were originally aired on TV. Chandler suggests Phoebe would win over Monica in a fight but he and others have said several times how strong Monica is. Same goes for Ross but he and Chandler seem to be pretty even here. Monica and Chandler's wedding was in May. Roughly 4 weeks earlier, Rachel got pregnant. Therefore, she should be over 6 months along around Halloween yet she isn't showing.

The first time we met he asked my dog’s name, so I told him her name was Jayma. (That’s not a lie, Jayma is her real name.) And the next several times we’d see him, he’d apologize that he couldn’t remember her name and ask again. Then, one day, he asked me “Tammy, right?” And I don’t even know why, but on autopilot I just answered “Yep.” And it happened so quickly as he was walking past that I didn’t get the chance to correct it. I figured it wasn’t that big of a deal, he always forgets her name anyway. Long story short he called my dog Tammy for two and half years.
