In Ben's last scene, when he steps away from the rainbow wave, that was a symbol for me that he is distancing himself from that part of himself, at least for now. That it was meant to make clear that Ben is not ready to accept being queer and all that might entail - and perhaps never will be.

I agree with your take on the growth of the characters this season, overall the storylines felt more complex and challenging in an interesting way. And it was awesome that Isaac got more focus/ representation this season, I wouldn't mind even more screentime for him in season 3

2023-09-06 04:38:34 +0000 UTCI agree about season 2 being better and that's hard to say but I think S2 we saw the growth of all the characters and their relationships and that just really added depth to the show. I love all the representation even seeing Isaac being aroace. And now we wait for S3. Thank you Nick for your reaction. It was fun watching again with you!
