I'm sure I missed some of the references, and I feel dumb for not even realizing this was a Mel Brooks film... but if you're in the mood for laughing and then laughing some more, give this one a try!

The English accent line was directed at the Kevin Costner Robin Hood movie; Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. The whole Men in Tights film was a jab at Prince of Thieves. It started Alan Rickman as the Sheriff and Sean Connery I think as King Richard. I heard it was very iconic and just bad... lol
