If I reach a point where I'm about to be killed or knocked out, I shut off the console before it can save the loss. It's a bad habit I developed because in the early Pokémon games when you black out you lose half of your money. But if you never "lose", you never pay the consequences. My family rightly gives me a lot of shit for it.
