Holy shit, actual objectives! This week was spent getting the quest tracking functional. It was not as clear as the dialogue system instructions made it seem, so I spent a bunch of time slogging through *really* old demo scenes and smashing my face against the keyboard trying to parse through the code, but it works now!
I've been spending a bunch of time (for months) thinking about the various quests I want to have and how to implement them. Of course I want to have a good story. I've always heard that "Spec Ops: The Line" has a really good story, and it was recently free in a humble bundle or something, so I grabbed that and gave it a play through. It was fairly short and felt blindingly linear. Overall though, comparatively I think what I have planned will be pretty good. Unless there's a huge spike in Patrons though, Vizier's Shame probably won't have voice acting. I think that was probably one of the stronger points of "Spec Ops."
