[Reborn as Son Goten] Chapter 251 - 255

Chapter 251 - Goten vs. Salama

"Don't even think about asking me to apologize to him!" Salama’s voice boomed through the Dragon God Realm, his tone sharp with indignation. He paced back and forth in his grand chamber, his robes billowing with each forceful step. The thought of bowing his head to a mortal, even one as powerful as Goten, was an affront to his pride.

Sava stood silently nearby, her golden eyes observing her father with quiet resignation. "Okay then, Father," she said after a pause, her voice calm. She knew Salama’s temper well enough to avoid pressing the issue further.

Salama took a deep breath, attempting to steady his emotions. "What is the situation with the Great Goddess?" he asked, his tone slightly softer but still laced with tension.

Sava folded her hands. "Not good," she admitted. "Although the Great Goddess prepared extensively for this war, The Grand Zeno’s universe countered her plans effectively. And with Goten’s overwhelming power tipping the scales, her position grows more precarious by the day."

Salama furrowed his brow, his expression thoughtful. "It seems The Grand Zeno’s universe still has the advantage. Even with her divine schemes, the Great Goddess may not succeed."

Sava nodded solemnly, unsure of what more could be done.

The Next Morning

After finishing a hearty breakfast at Goku’s house, Goten flew to Trunks’s home. As he landed lightly in the yard, Trunks emerged from the house, a wide smile spreading across his face.

"Goten!" Trunks greeted enthusiastically.

"Trunks," Goten replied with a nod.

Trunks gestured for Goten to follow him inside, but Goten shook his head. "No time. I wanted to check in on the situation with the universes."

"How are things looking?" Trunks asked, his tone turning serious.

"Universe 7 is stable for now," Goten explained. "With Frieza holding the fort, there haven’t been any major threats."

Trunks tilted his head. "But you said ‘for now.’ What’s the problem?"

"The bigger issue lies with Universe 10. Their forces are struggling against the Sixteenth Universe. Their combat strength isn’t enough to hold the line."

Trunks frowned. "Is anyone helping them?"

"Yes. Reinforcements from other universes are on their way," Goten said. "It’s a temporary solution, but it should stabilize the situation."

Before they could continue the conversation, a radiant golden light descended from the sky, landing gracefully in Trunks’s yard. As the brilliance faded, Sava stepped forward, her white robes gleaming in the sunlight.

Goten’s eyes narrowed. "Sava," he said flatly.

Trunks glanced at her curiously. "Do you know her?"

"She’s the daughter of the Dragon God Salama," Goten replied, his tone cold.

Sava offered a warm smile. "Goten, it’s good to see you again."

Goten crossed his arms, his expression unchanging. "Why are you here?"

"I’ve come to apologize on behalf of my father," Sava said, bowing slightly.

Goten’s expression hardened further. "If your father wants to apologize, he can come here himself."

Sava hesitated, her gaze lowering briefly before meeting Goten’s. "I understand your frustration, but I’m here in good faith. What can I do to make amends?"

A smirk tugged at Goten’s lips. "If Salama wants my forgiveness, he has to fight me."

Sava’s eyes widened in shock. "A fight? You don’t intend to kill him, do you?"

"Why? Don’t you think he can handle me?" Goten replied with a raised eyebrow.

"It’s not that," Sava said quickly. "I’m just…"

"Relax," Goten interrupted. "I won’t kill him. I’ll only teach him a lesson."

"You swear?" Sava asked, her tone serious.

"I swear," Goten replied, raising his hand mockingly. "If I kill him, may the heavens strike me down."

Sava let out a soft sigh. "Very well. I’ll inform my father of your challenge. If he agrees, he will come to Earth to face you."

"And if he refuses?"

Sava’s gaze wavered. "Then I can’t force him," she admitted.

"Fair enough," Goten said. "I’ll wait for his answer."

Sava nodded before transforming into a streak of golden light and vanishing into the sky.

Trunks turned to Goten, his brow furrowed. "Why are you so determined to fight the Dragon God?"

"Because he’s arrogant," Goten said with a shrug. "I want to knock him down a peg."

Trunks blinked, unsure how to respond.

Dragon God Realm

Sava returned to the Dragon God Realm, where Salama was pacing in his private chamber.

"You spoke to him?" Salama asked without looking up.

"Yes," Sava replied. "Goten has challenged you to a fight."

Salama’s head snapped up, his eyes blazing. "That mortal dares to challenge me?"

"Father," Sava said calmly, "Goten is incredibly strong. I’m worried about what might happen after the war if he harbors a grudge."

Salama scoffed. "Do you think I fear him?"

"No," Sava replied evenly. "But avoiding a confrontation now might make things worse later."

Salama huffed, his pride warring with practicality. "I’ll consider it," he muttered.

One Week Later – Mount Paozu

Goten was in the middle of an intense one-finger push-up routine, his aura flickering faintly as he focused on his training. Marron sat nearby, her golden hair catching the sunlight as she watched him with quiet admiration.

Suddenly, a golden light descended from the sky, landing a few meters away. Salama and Sava stepped forward, their regal presence commanding attention.

From the mountains, Merus appeared, flying swiftly to greet them.

"Lord Salama," Merus said, bowing respectfully.

Salama nodded in acknowledgment before turning his attention to Goten.

"Are you here to apologize?" Goten asked with a smirk.

"No," Salama replied, his voice firm. "I’m here to fight."

Marron’s eyes widened. "Goten, who are they?"

"This is Salama, the Dragon God, and his daughter, Sava," Goten explained.

Marron blinked, clearly out of her depth.

Salama’s voice cut through the moment. "Goten, where shall we fight?"

"Over the ocean," Goten replied. "I don’t want to cause unnecessary damage to the Earth."

Salama glanced at the ground. "This planet has been reinforced, but fine, we’ll fight over the sea."

With that, the two launched into the sky, their auras lighting up the heavens.

As they reached the ocean, Salama turned to Goten. "Transform into a Super Saiyan," he commanded.

Goten clenched his fists, his golden aura surging around him as his hair turned bright gold. The ocean churned violently below them, reflecting the immense power radiating from the two combatants.

Chapter 252: Goten vs. Salama (Part 2)

Under the intensity of Goten's Ki, the once-calm sea transformed into a raging torrent. Waves rose and crashed violently, as if responding to the energy emanating from the young Saiyan.

“Ah!!!” Goten roared, his voice echoing across the endless expanse of water.

In a blinding surge of energy, Goten’s hair underwent a remarkable transformation. It turned stark white and extended to his waist, with the tips of the strands adopting a striking pink hue. His pupils shimmered with a radiant pink light, and two angular patterns resembling bookends etched themselves onto his forehead. Red, upward-slanting marks appeared on either side of his face, emphasizing the sheer intensity of his transformation. His entire body was enveloped in a brilliant golden aura interspersed with crackling golden lightning.

This was the ascension to Super Saiyan Seven.

The moment his transformation was complete, Goten released a burst of power that rippled outward in a destructive wave. The energy lashed against the ocean, creating towering waves that roared like wild beasts. Winds howled as his aura expanded, making the atmosphere itself tremble under its weight.

Watching this, Salama smiled—a knowing grin of a warrior relishing the challenge. Without hesitation, the Dragon God charged forward, his form blurring with speed. Goten clenched his fists, his muscles taut with anticipation, and met the charge head-on.

“Whoosh—”

Their collision unleashed a deafening BANG, shaking the heavens and the earth. The sky above and the sea below bore witness to a furious exchange of blows as the two titans clashed. Their movements were so swift that to any observer, they appeared as streaking flashes of golden light cutting through the firmament.

Far away, on Earth, Goku and his companions stood frozen as they sensed the powerful Ki reverberating from Goten’s battle.

“Merus, who is Goten fighting now?” Gohan asked, his expression a mixture of awe and concern.

Merus, the Galactic Patrol agent turned observer, kept his gaze steady. “Lord Goten is currently fighting  Dragon God Salama.”

Gohan’s eyes widened. “Dragon God Salama?”

“I never thought the Dragon God himself would come to Earth to face Goten!” Trunks exclaimed, his voice carrying both surprise and admiration.

“What are you talking about, Trunks?” Krillin interjected, curiosity evident in his tone.

Trunks explained, “A week ago, Salama’s daughter, Sava, came to Earth. She claimed to apologize on behalf of her father for their past actions. But Goten wasn’t interested. He told her that forgiveness could only be earned if the Dragon God himself faced him in battle.”

Krillin blinked in understanding. “I see…”

“Yeah,” Trunks nodded solemnly.

In the sacred realm of the Kais, the Old Kai and Supreme Kai Shin observed the unfolding battle through their divine vision. The Old Kai sighed heavily.

“Why does Goten insist on fighting everyone he encounters?” he grumbled.

Shin shrugged helplessly. “I couldn’t tell you.”

Back on Earth, the clash between Goten and Salama intensified. After a series of rapid strikes, Salama clasped his hands together and brought them down on Goten’s back with tremendous force, sending him hurtling into the ocean below.

BOOM! The impact created an explosion on the water’s surface, sending waves hundreds of feet into the air.

Goten plunged into the depths, swallowing mouthfuls of seawater as he descended. Salama wasted no time and followed, his figure a streak of motion as he dove in pursuit. The ocean roared and churned, the sheer energy of their battle disrupting the marine ecosystem.

At the ocean floor, Goten recovered, shaking off the disorientation. He clenched his fists, and in a blur of movement, appeared before Salama, launching a powerful punch. The water offered resistance, but Goten’s strength created whirlpools as his fists moved.

Salama met the attack head-on, trading blows with Goten. The seabed shook, dislodging sand, rocks, and schools of fish, which scattered in all directions. The water turned into a chaotic battlefield as the two warriors exchanged strikes, their power manifesting as swirling vortices.

With a thunderous crash, Goten was sent flying into a massive rock formation. The rock shattered under the impact, crumbling into a cloud of debris.

Salama took the opportunity to unleash an energy wave from his right hand, its glow illuminating the murky depths. Sensing the danger, Goten quickly regained his footing and dodged, the energy wave erupting behind him with a deafening explosion. The resulting shockwave displaced water outward, creating a void momentarily.

Goten surged upward, bursting from the surface of the ocean and taking in deep breaths.

“Goten!” Trunks shouted from afar, his voice filled with urgency.

Before he could say more, Salama emerged from the water in a streak of motion. A colossal wave followed, cascading like a liquid wall of destruction.

Goten countered with a shout, his voice cutting through the chaos. “Ha!!”

In an instant, he reappeared before Salama, his fists moving faster than the speed of light. Each strike came with precision, targeting Salama’s defenses. Salama raised his arms to block, deflecting the onslaught but barely keeping pace.

The sky above them turned into a tempest of storms and golden lightning, the aftermath of their clashes rippling through the atmosphere. Thunder roared as bolts of energy danced around them.

From a distance, Sava watched in disbelief. “Goten…” she murmured, her voice trembling. She had always revered her father’s strength, yet the sight of him matching blows with Goten left her shaken. She couldn’t deny the power and skill of this young Saiyan.

As the battle continued, both warriors prepared their ultimate attacks. Goten and Salama simultaneously charged their energy, their hands glowing with brilliant golden light.

With a synchronized roar, they unleashed their energy waves. The attacks collided midair, creating a massive explosion that illuminated the entire sky. The shockwave hurled both fighters backward.

Salama gasped for breath, beads of sweat forming on his forehead. He looked at Goten, whose expression remained calm despite the exertion.

“I know you’re capable of using Ultra Instinct,” Salama said, his voice laced with both challenge and curiosity. “Why not use it right away?”

Goten exhaled softly and allowed his body to relax. His hair and eyebrows turned silver, his pupils became a shimmering silver-gray, and his aura transformed into a radiant silver-white glow. This was the mark of achieving Ultra Instinct—a state of complete harmony between mind and body.

In the Grand Zeno Palace, the Grand Priest observed the battle through his staff, his expression unreadable.

“Goten has grown stronger,” he remarked. “He can stand toe-to-toe with Salama even without using Ultra Instinct.”

Salama’s eyes narrowed as he watched Goten in his heightened state. Memories of his battle with the Grand Priest resurfaced. He clenched his fists, determination etched into his features.

With a loud cry, Salama surged forward, attacking with a speed surpassing light itself. Yet Goten, now in Ultra Instinct, moved effortlessly, his body reacting instinctively to each strike. Salama’s punches and kicks met only empty space as Goten weaved through the assault with fluid grace.

Frustrated, Salama let out a roar and launched a knee strike aimed at Goten’s midsection. Goten stepped back with perfect timing, evading the attack. Salama’s figure blurred as he appeared behind Goten, throwing a powerful punch toward his head.

Goten raised his hand, catching the fist with ease. Salama’s eyes widened in shock.

Before Salama could recover, Goten drove his elbow into Salama’s chest, sending him staggering backward with a pained cry. Without giving him a moment to breathe, Goten followed up with a relentless barrage of punches and kicks. Each strike landed with precision, the sound of impact echoing like thunderclaps.

“Bang! Bang! Bang!” Salama cried out as Goten’s fists struck him relentlessly, driving him back further and further.

Chapter 253: The War of the Gods Begins

At that moment, an overwhelming surge of Ki erupted from Salama, radiating a force so intense that it sent Goten skidding backward through the air. The sheer magnitude of Salama's energy caused ripples in the fabric of the atmosphere, a testament to his unyielding power.

Goten clenched his fists, his muscles flexing as he steadied himself mid-air. His sharp gaze locked onto Salama, who stood gasping for breath, his once-confident demeanor shaken.

For the first time in his long existence, Salama felt an inexplicable pressure. The Dragon God, a figure of legend and one of the ten strongest beings across the eighteen universes, had faced countless powerful foes, including the Grand Priest himself. Yet, he had never experienced such a suffocating weight bearing down on him. That it came from a young Saiyan in his twenties only deepened his bewilderment.

As Salama grappled with this unfamiliar sensation, Goten made his move. In an instant, he appeared before Salama, his speed rendering him nearly invisible. With a mighty cry, Goten drove his right fist into Salama’s abdomen with devastating force.

“Ugh!” Salama bellowed in pain, his body recoiling from the blow and shooting backward like a comet streaking through the sky.

Goten didn’t waste a second. Raising his hands, he began gathering energy. The air around him crackled as a deep blue light formed between his palms, intensifying with each passing moment. His voice thundered across the battlefield as he unleashed his signature attack.

“Kamehameha!”

The energy wave surged forth, a beam of concentrated destruction aimed directly at Salama. The attack hit its mark with precision, engulfing Salama and propelling him further into the distance.

BOOM!

The explosion that followed lit up the sky, a blinding blue storm of energy that rippled outward in every direction. The sea below churned violently, its waves reaching unprecedented heights under the influence of the shockwave.

“Ahhh!” Salama’s agonized scream echoed through the chaos as he struggled to resist the force of the explosion. His body was battered, and his strength waned as the Kamehameha’s power overwhelmed him.

From a safe distance, Sava watched in horror. “Father!” she cried, her voice trembling with fear. She clenched her fists, her confidence in her father’s invincibility shaken for the first time.

As the smoke cleared, Goten stood firm, his eyes scanning the dissipating haze. Salama remained airborne, his figure emerging from the remnants of the explosion. His disheveled appearance and labored breathing betrayed the toll the battle had taken on him.

Although the attack hadn’t defeated him, the damage was evident. Salama’s body was bruised, his aura flickering unsteadily. Despite this, he maintained a defiant glare.

Goten smiled faintly, his tone calm but firm. “Alright, Salama. I think we’ve had enough. This fight is over, don’t you think?”

Salama froze, his expression a mix of confusion and disbelief. “Over? You’re not fighting anymore?”

Goten nodded. “No more fighting.”

Though uncertain of Goten’s intent, Salama hesitated. Deep down, he knew the truth—he could not defeat this Saiyan. Resigned, he gave a reluctant nod. “Fine.”

With the fight concluded, Goten allowed his body to return to its base form. His aura subsided, and his hair reverted to its normal state. He flew toward his companions, a look of quiet satisfaction on his face.

“Goten, why did you pick a fight with the Dragon God Salama?” Piccolo asked, his tone tinged with curiosity.

Goten shook his head. “I didn’t pick a fight with him. He challenged me. I only proposed the duel to see how powerful he really is.”

“I see,” Piccolo replied thoughtfully. “Still, I think he might be on our side now. After seeing your strength, he probably understands where he stands.”

“He’s just a fence-sitter,” Marron interjected, her voice carrying a hint of disdain.

Goten chuckled softly. “Marron, he’s not a fence-sitter. His goal was likely to pit the Grand Priest and the High Mother Goddess against each other. If they both fell, he could take advantage of the chaos.”

“Then why didn’t you finish him off, Goten?” Marron asked, her tone more curious than accusatory.

Goten’s smile widened. “Not every problem in this world can be solved through killing. Sometimes, strength—absolute strength—is the only answer.”

Time passed, and half a year flew by like a fleeting moment. During this period, peace reigned on Earth. While conflicts erupted across the universe, Frieza’s army swiftly quelled any unrest in Universe 7.

However, not all universes fared as well. Universe 10, in particular, suffered devastating losses, with half of its territories falling under the control of Universe 16’s forces. This rapid conquest was due in large part to the defection of many Universe 10 armies, who surrendered to the invaders.

In Universe Zero, within the Palace of the Great Mother Goddess, an urgent meeting was underway. Galion and his companions stood before the High Mother, their expressions a mix of anticipation and unease.

“My Lady, are we truly going to war with Grand Zeno today?” Amarula asked, her voice betraying her nervousness.

The Great Mother nodded solemnly. “Yes.”

“What about Goten?” Amarula inquired further.

“I’ve already arranged for someone to go to Earth. I doubt he’ll be involved,” the Great Mother replied confidently.

Amarula’s skepticism lingered. “I see…”

The Great Mother continued, her tone unwavering. “Besides, the Grand Priest and his allies are likely unaware of our sudden attack. This element of surprise is crucial.”

Galion stepped forward. “If there are no further questions, shall we depart for Zeno’s Palace?”

“Let’s proceed,” the Great Mother declared.

Meanwhile, in Zeno’s Palace, the two Omni Kings sat atop their thrones, their childlike boredom evident as they played a game. Their casual demeanor masked the gravity of the looming threat.

Suddenly, the staff in the Grand Priest’s hand glowed brightly. Through its divine lens, he saw the Great Mother Goddess and her forces—angels, gods of destruction, and kai from six universes—gathering outside the palace gates.

“Great Mother…” the Grand Priest muttered, his expression darkening. He wasted no time, using his staff to summon Whis and the others to the palace immediately.

Just as the call was sent, the Great Mother Goddess appeared within the palace, flanked by Galion and her entourage. Her arrival was swift and commanding, a declaration of her intent.

The Grand Priest turned to face her, his voice steady but sharp. “Great Mother Goddess.”

The High Mother sneered, her piercing gaze settling on the two Omni Kings. “Grand Zeno.”

The Omni Kings, abandoning their game, responded in unison, their tones eerily calm. “Long time no see, Great Mother Goddess.”

The Great Mother’s voice dripped with venom. “Spare me the pleasantries. You sealed us away, wiped out the universe we governed, all because of your arbitrary judgments on mortal survival levels. Today, I’ve come to settle the score. I will overthrow you and establish a new cosmic order!”

The Omni Kings remained composed, their childlike faces giving nothing away. “Do you not see the error in your ways, Great Mother?”

The Great Mother laughed bitterly. “The error lies not with me, but with you. The universe is not yours alone to command. It belongs to all of us.”

With a sudden wave of her hand, she signaled her forces. “Today, we fight to reclaim what is ours!”

At her command, angels, gods of destruction, and kings prepared for battle. The Omni Kings, however, were unfazed. In an instant, thirty-six figures appeared in the throne room—twelve angels, the Kings of Kings, and the Gods of Destruction, ready to defend their rulers.

The Great Mother smirked. “Let the war begin!”

The Grand Priest stepped forward, his Ki radiating an aura of unshakable confidence. “Your opponent is me, Great Mother Goddess.”

Chapter 254: Grand Priest vs. High Mother

The Great Mother Goddess’s voice boomed, filled with anger and defiance. Her staff clashed with the Grand Priest’s in a thunderous clang, releasing shockwaves that reverberated throughout the Grand Zeno Palace. The immense force of their collision cracked the walls and shook the structure’s once-unshakable foundation.

As the two celestial powers fought, the angels and their respective allies engaged in fierce battles of their own. The palace became a war zone, with fighters from the eighteen universes locked in intense combat.

Whis squared off against Galion, the angel of Universe 13. Galion’s strikes were sharp and precise, his movements a blur of golden light. Whis countered with equal precision, their fists colliding in bursts of energy. Vados faced Amarula, the angel of Universe 15, their duel a clash of skill and cunning as they exchanged rapid blows.

Awamo, the angel of Universe 1, fought against Rem, the high-spirited angel of Universe 16. Her high ponytail swayed with each swift movement, her attacks both elegant and lethal. Marcarita, the angel of Universe 11, faced Ceres, the towering and muscular angel of Universe 14. Their clash sent shockwaves rippling through the palace corridors.

Kusu, the angel of Universe 10, confronted Oro, the enigmatic angel of Universe 17. Oro’s bangs partially obscured his piercing gaze as he moved with speed and precision. Mojito, the angel of Universe 9, engaged Tust, the fierce and imposing angel of Universe 18. Each battle showcased the unparalleled strength and determination of the combatants.

Outside the palace, the Gods of Destruction clashed in the void beyond the universes, their power unrestricted by spatial limitations. The absence of universes nearby allowed their destructive force to unfold without risking annihilation of the cosmos.

“Long time no see, Beerus,” Balkan sneered. The diminutive God of Destruction of Universe 13 had purple skin and a ferocious, battle-hardened appearance. His tone was mocking, his presence radiating malice.

Beerus narrowed his eyes, his voice cold and sharp. “I’d hoped never to see you again, Balkan.”

Nearby, Champa squared off against Meier, the masked God of Destruction of Universe 14. Meier chuckled, his tone taunting. “Still as round as ever, Champa.”

“Mind your own business!” Champa barked, his fists raised in anger.

Elsewhere, Quetla, the God of Destruction of Universe 4, faced off against Prin, the mummy-like deity of Universe 15. Belmod, the jester-like God of Destruction of Universe 11, confronted Nak, the darkly clad God of Destruction of Universe 16. Iwan and Giin, the Gods of Destruction of Universes 1 and 12, engaged Nissus and Taz, the Gods of Destruction of Universes 17 and 18.

With a battle cry, Beerus launched the first strike, his foot slicing through the void in a blinding arc. Balkan countered, and the clash of their Ki lit up the battlefield like a supernova. Soon, the entire void became a symphony of destructive energy as the Gods of Destruction unleashed their power.

Inside the palace, chaos intensified. Whis’s fist connected with Galion’s face, sending him flying across the hall. Galion recovered swiftly, his aura flaring as he launched a counterattack. Nearby, Vados parried Amarula’s energy-infused strikes, their battle a spectacle of precision and strategy. Mojito’s battle with Tust left the palace trembling as their attacks tore through stone and shattered columns.

At the heart of the palace, the Grand Priest and the High Mother Goddess fought with unparalleled ferocity. Their staffs collided repeatedly, each clash producing massive bursts of flame and energy. The weapons, though crafted from indestructible angelic materials, began to warp under the strain of their power.

Realizing their staffs would not endure much longer, the High Mother discarded hers, letting it clatter to the ground. The Grand Priest followed suit, abandoning his staff as they prepared to fight with their bare hands.

In a flash of white light, the High Mother closed the distance between them, launching a barrage of punches and kicks at speeds faster than light. The Grand Priest met her blows head-on, their fists and feet colliding with devastating force. The air around them crackled as their energy created shockwaves that reduced the surrounding structures to rubble.

To an observer, their battle appeared as countless silver-white flashes of light streaking across the palace. The ground beneath them trembled as their clashes grew more intense, and the once-pristine halls of the Grand Zeno Palace fell into ruin.

The Omni Kings, sensing the danger, were escorted to safety by Astrion and Celion, their loyal attendants. Martinu, the angel of Universe 12, accompanied them, acting as their protector.

“Grand Zeno, please stay here,” Martinu urged. “I believe the Grand Priest will prevail.”

The Omni Kings nodded in unison, their typically carefree expressions replaced with somber determination.

Back in the palace, the High Mother launched a powerful energy blast at the Grand Priest. He countered with his own, the two attacks colliding midair in an explosion that illuminated the entire palace. The force of the blast obliterated the remaining walls, leaving only the crumbling foundation.

The angels’ battles continued unabated. Whis dodged Galion’s spinning energy attack, retaliating with a precision strike that sent Galion crashing into a pillar. Galion roared in frustration, charging forward with renewed vigor. Vados deftly sidestepped Amarula’s assault, countering with a spinning kick that sent her opponent reeling.

Far away on Earth, a new threat emerged. Xicor, accompanied by Lila and a towering Saiyan named Rigor, arrived with the 13th Universe’s army. Rigor, a warrior summoned by Towa from an alternate timeline, stood at the forefront, exuding an aura of raw power that sent shivers through the air.

Their arrival did not go unnoticed. Goku and his companions quickly confronted them, their expressions tense but resolute.

“Who are you?” Goku asked, his voice calm yet firm as he eyed the newcomers.

Xicor smirked, his golden hair shimmering in the sunlight. “You’ll find out soon enough.”

Chapter 255: West Kaioshin

“West Kaioshin!” The East Kai, watching from the Kaioshin Realm, exclaimed in shock upon recognizing Lila.

“West Kaioshin?” Gohan asked, confusion written across his face.

"Yes," Supreme Kai Shin confirmed, his tone grave. "But she should have died during her battle with Majin Buu. How is she still alive?!"

Without hesitation, Supreme Kai Shin used Instant Transmission to appear on Earth, his presence startling everyone.

“Kaio shin!” Lila’s pupils contracted upon seeing him. Though she had expected this encounter, she still felt a pang of reluctance. She had once been a Kai, and if not for Majin Buu’s attack, she and East Kai Shin might still have been close friends.

“Lord Kaioshin!” Goku called out, surprised by the sudden appearance.

"Yes," Supreme Kai Shin acknowledged with a nod before turning his gaze toward Lila. “Long time no see, West Kaioshin.”

“West Kaioshin?!” The group echoed in disbelief.

“It’s been a while, hasn’t it?” Lila replied, her tone calm but distant.

“West Kaioshin,” Supreme Kai Shin began, his voice heavy with emotion, “who are these people, and why have you joined them?”

Lila’s expression softened momentarily as she glanced at Xicor. “This is Xicor. He is my son.”

The revelation hit Supreme Kai Shin like a bolt of lightning. “Son… your son?!”

The group was equally stunned. Gohan’s brow furrowed in confusion. “Kaioshin can have children?”

Supreme Kai Shin explained, “While not impossible, it’s extraordinarily rare. Kaioshin are born on the ‘Core Star of the World,’ emerging from the fruit of the World Tree. Most Kaioshin are born of ordinary fruits, but Supreme Kai are born from the rare golden fruit. They don’t reproduce biologically in the traditional sense.”

“So the Kaioshin can have children after all!” Goku mused, scratching his chin.

“Dad, that’s not the point here!” Gohan interjected, exasperated.

Goku tilted his head. “Isn’t it? Then what’s the point?”

Gohan sighed, pointing toward Xicor. “Didn’t you notice he has a tail? That means his father must be a Saiyan.”

“Ah!” Goku exclaimed, realization dawning on him.

Supreme Kai Shin redirected his focus to Lila. “West Kaioshin, how is this possible? You were believed dead after Majin Buu’s attack.”

Lila’s expression darkened as she replied, “I thought I had died too. But after drifting in the void of space for countless years, I was found and rescued by Frieza’s ancestors.”

“Frieza?” Gohan echoed.

“Yes,” Lila continued. “To exact revenge on Majin Buu, I collaborated with them to breed stronger offspring.”

“That explains why Frieza’s talent became so terrifying,” Gohan remarked.

“Strong?” Lila scoffed. “Frieza was a failure in my eyes.”

“A failure?” Vegeta narrowed his eyes. “And Xicor?”

Lila smiled faintly. “Xicor is my ultimate creation.”

“Who is his father?” Supreme Kai Shin asked, his voice tinged with unease.

“Goku,” Lila said simply, her eyes fixed on the Saiyan.

“Goku?!” the group exclaimed in unison.

Goku blinked, stunned. “Me?”

Lila clarified, “Your genes were extracted from a sample of your blood. Xicor was created using that divine Saiyan lineage.”

“Oh,” Goku said, relaxing slightly. “So it’s kind of like Dr. Gero creating Cell, then?”

Lila’s face hardened. “Do not compare those lowly creations to my Xicor. He carries my divine blood, making him infinitely superior.”

Goku grinned and assumed a fighting stance. “Vegeta, I’ll handle Xicor. You take care of the other guy.”

Vegeta scoffed. “Kakarot, stop telling me what to do.”

Supreme Kai Shin’s attention shifted to Rigor, the tall Saiyan standing silently beside Lila. “Who is he? Another of your creations?”

“No,” Lila replied. “His name is Rigor. He was sent by the Great Mother Goddess.”

As Supreme Kai Shin and the others exchanged words, Goten stood silently beside Tien and Merus, his gaze fixed on the crystal ball embedded in Merus’s staff. The ball displayed the ongoing battle between the Grand Priest and the High Mother Goddess at Zeno’s Palace.

Initially, Goten had considered rushing to Zeno’s Palace to assist. But after careful thought, he decided to observe first. If the Grand Priest could handle the situation, his intervention might not be necessary.

“Goten!” Lila’s voice snapped him out of his focus.

Raising his head, Goten spoke to Merus. “Keep monitoring the situation at Zeno’s Palace for me. I’ll stretch my muscles a bit.”

“Understood, Lord Goten,” Merus replied.

Lila sneered. “Come, soldiers of the 13th Universe! Attack!”

At her command, the army of the 13th Universe surged forward. Krillin, Piccolo, and the others quickly readied themselves for battle.

“Ha!” Piccolo roared as he led the charge, his aura flaring. The Z Fighters clashed with the invading soldiers, their attacks swift and devastating.

Goten stood firm as he raised a hand. “Freeze,” he commanded calmly.

In an instant, tens of thousands of soldiers froze in place, unable to move.

“What?!” Lila exclaimed, her eyes widening in shock.

Without hesitation, Goten fired a series of destructive energy blasts at the immobilized soldiers. Each explosion echoed across the battlefield, and within moments, tens of thousands of soldiers were wiped out.

The remaining soldiers trembled in fear, their morale shattered. Some attempted to retreat, only to meet a swift end as Lila raised her hand and fired a purple ray at one of the deserters, killing him instantly.

“No one retreats!” Lila’s voice was ice-cold. “Anyone who tries will die.”
