Cliche Chapter 587-588: Order of Themis

Asahi didn’t feel like involving Saya with the hero business. And Lemegeton couldn’t be a leader or a warrior with her laid back, carefree demeanor.
It was better for them to leave than join him.
Asahi made his way to the Blizzard Group Headquarters with Saya, Saeko, and Rini. To his surprise, a maid with fiery determination in her eyes greeted him at the door.
Freya, his goddess maid, stood by the window, struggling to stifle her laughter. "Haha, Master," Freya chuckled. "Go on, shower our newly recruited maid with compliments. It'll boost her confidence."
Fubuki groaned, clearly uncomfortable in her tight maid dress. "Come in... M-M... Forget it. I'm not calling you that."
Freya raised an eyebrow. "Forget compliments. You should discipline a maid who can't address her master properly."
Asahi gently grasped Fubuki's chin. “I'll punish you later. Right now, we have more pressing matters to attend to.”
Sonic heaved a sigh of relief. Although he harbored no interest in romantic pursuits, being caught in the middle of lovers' dramatic exchanges made him feel uneasy.
Asahi stepped away from the entrance, allowing the entire group to file into the room. Fubuki stood there in shock, clearly not expecting more women to follow him.
Rini inspected Fubuki's maid outfit from all angles, her keen eyes scrutinizing every intricate detail of the frilly dress. "Eight out of ten..."
“Thanks, I guess?” Fubuki didn’t know how to respond to Rini’s ratings, so she just thanked the rather antisocial blue-haired woman. She then turned to the Busujima Twins. “You are?”
“My university classmates—”
"Stay away from this manipulative demon," Fubuki hastily warned, hoping it wasn't too late to save the girls from his sinister clutches. "Just leave."
“—and my lovers,” Asahi continued with a cheeky grin. “Fubuki, you thought I’d bring random classmates to my hideout? You really act before you think, don’t you?”
“...”
Shiori grinned. “My god, she is being toyed with by Asahi-kun. I’ll welcome such humiliation with open arms. Wouldn’t you too, Saeko?”
Saeko’s face flushed crimson as she imagined receiving the same treatment as Fubuki. It frankly turned her on. “Listen to what he said. It’s time for important business.”
“Fine…”
Once Asahi introduced Saeko, Shiori, and Rini, he settled into a chair while Fubuki's subordinates, as well as Fubuki and Sonic, stood before him. “Allow me to introduce your new comrades. Saeko, open up the portal.”
Saeko drew her katana and sliced through the air, creating a portal that summoned Loki's Familia, Astraea's Familia, and Freya's band of adventurers. The cavernous space suddenly felt cramped with the arrival of towering figures like Ottar and Gareth.
The place became rowdy as Alise’s party huddled at the window, observing the world with their own eyes.
The room buzzed with activity as Alise's party crowded around the window, observing the world with wide-eyed curiosity.
"It's more simple than Maya's city," Alise mused, sighing wistfully. "But it's still fascinating, especially the vehicles. I'll have Asahi teach me how to ride those two-wheelers."
Their exposure to Maya's world, brimming with sci-fi equipment, had spoiled their perceptions so much that they didn't feel the same thrill about this world. One could say they were getting used to the environment.
Kaguya patted Alise's back. "I'd rather hug Husband-kun while he drives me to a love hotel and… and makes love to me within the elevator then the room then the shower—"
“Ahem, Kaguya.” Saeko interjected in Kaguya’s rampant fantasies. “Please don’t mix Shiori’s dirty novels with reality.”
Kaguya chuckled and turned to Ryuu. “What about you, Ryuu?”
Ryuu shook her head, tracing the edge of her collar. "I am a slave... Master decides things for me."
Kaguya's grin turned wicked, her gaze teasing Ryuu with a hint of sadism. "I bet you want to sit on his lap while he drives."
Alise nodded. "That's pretty daring for Ryuu."
Ryuu glared at them with a beet-red face, unable to deny their accurate assertions. Kaguya, being a degenerate herself, could peer into Ryuu’s erotic mind with ease.
…
Fubuki felt baffled seeing warriors clad in medieval armor crowding her base. “Uh, what the fuck?”
"My children~" Freya's face lit up with a radiant smile as she approached her adventurers. "How have you been faring without me? You look exhausted, Ottar. What's the matter?"
Ottar exhaled heavily. "We've been training... I forgot to sleep."
In a new world, he could only rely on his strength to get over dangers and protect his goddess. Training was his best friend in honing his skills.
“You musclebrain…”
Fubuki's eyes narrowed, her gaze shifting from Freya to Asahi and back again. "Did you call them your children? You never told me you were married. Are they Asahi's?"
“They all are adopted,” Freya scoffed. “My one true child will only be conceived with my charming master.”
She didn’t forget to voice out her true feelings regarding Asahi. Between the wedding and his absence, the goddess of beauty never got the chance to take him to bed.
“I see.”
Asahi decided to move past their playful exchange and embraced Loki. "Do you feel different in this world?"
Loki shook her head. “The usual. I feel excited, though. My children will create new legends in a new world.”
Being a goddess inhabiting a mortal form, both Loki and Astraea required special attention. Asahi felt responsible for ensuring their well-being, even though they had been perfectly fine during their beach party in Maya's world.
Loki stepped away, making room for Astraea. The goddess, clad in an elegant white sleeveless dress, shared a tender kiss with Asahi before hugging him tightly. Her beauty and grace had only grown since he last saw her on their honeymoon.
"My wife," he whispered, a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. "Are you ready to act as our boss?"
Astraea giggled, her eyes filled with warmth and adoration. "At work, sure. But at home, you'll always be my husband."
Asahi's heart swelled with happiness. Astraea's devotion to him was unwavering.
A gentle tug on his shirt, like the caress of a summer breeze, drew his attention to the often overlooked Ais and his adopted Haruhime. Ais remained blissfully unaware of his passionate night with Aria. Both mother and daughter liked him in their own ways.
‘Klyscha, remind me to meet Aria later.’
(You have to meet Fei Fei first.)
‘Crap, I forgot about that. I’ll go to her tomorrow.’
Astraea's laughter chimed like silver bells as she gracefully stepped aside, allowing him to fully focus his attention on Ais and Haruhime.
“Ais, feeling good here?” he asked, voice brimming with the tenderness of a parent.
Ais nodded, eyes sparkling with curiosity. “Big world… I want to see it with Onii-chan and Okaa-san…”
She had already envisioned exploring the world with him and Aria without any of their consents.
“Your mom won’t agree,” he said with a sigh, knowing Aria had no plans to stay away from her barrier for long.
Ais’s immediate response was dejected shoulders and a sigh. “Okaa-san is too stubborn…”
Unable to bear the sight of her sadness, he patted her head, his fingers tenderly waving through her golden hair. "Why don't we gang up on her this weekend and convince her?"
The mere thought of meeting Aria coaxed a giggle out of Ais. "Yes!"
Asahi affectionately ruffled her hair before turning to the blushing Haruhime. "For tonight, though, let's go out with the four of us."
His gaze drifted to the quiet high elf princess, Riveria, who discussed things with Finn and Gareth in a low voice. He hadn't spent much time with her since her fierce battle with Aimi. Teasing and messing with his 'Mom' would be a delightful change of pace.
“Um…” Ais nodded. “Bully Riveria.”
Haruhime, on the other hand, fidgeted like a delicate butterfly at the idea of spending time with him. "Yes, Otou-sama… I'm ready."
Fubuki watched Asahi's tender interactions with wide, disbelieving eyes. On one hand, he acted unbothered by the lives of an entire city, and on the other hand he treated some people with melting warmth. There couldn’t be a more two-faced individual walking this planet than him.
At last, Asahi told everyone to calm down, bringing the noise to zero within the meeting room. “I know it’s a lot to take in, but I want us to grow more than a small faction within a corrupt organization. Everyone here will be part of a big project moving forward.”
Sonic's expression darkened. “Don't you dare make this a project about creating super-powered mercenaries or assassins. I’ll fight you to death if it is.”
He already had enough trauma from rebelling against one organization. This time he had no chance of coming out victorious. Even so, he was willing to rebel.
“Rest assured, kid. It’s not about mercenaries or heroes.” Asahi spread his hands dramatically. “Everyone here will transform into Oracles and fight the injustice in our society. I will name us… Order of Themis.”
He had desired to name the organization Order of Astraea, but she had declined, deeming it too narcissistic. Instead, he chose Themis, the personification of justice, divine order, and law in Greek mythology. Both Astraea and Themis represented their organization in a fitting way.
As the adventurers were well-acquainted from their days in Orario, Asahi only had to bring Fubuki's loyal subordinates up to steam.
"Order of Themis?" Freya's silver eyes twinkled with a captivating mixture of awe and admiration as she gracefully clapped her hands. "It has an enchanting ring to it. Astraea, you can count on my unwavering support as our esteemed leader."
Asahi drew Astraea nearer, tenderly positioning her in the limelight. “Astraea possesses a wealth of experience in leadership that far surpasses my own. From this moment on, she will preside over our order. As for myself, I’ll humbly serve as an Oracle, fighting the forces of evil shoulder-to-shoulder with you.”
Astraea placed a hand on her heart and offered a graceful bow. "I am deeply honored to assume this role. Together, let us strive to purge this world of the darkness wrought by injustice and corruption."
Her seemingly simple words wove themselves into an enthralling symphony, a testament to her inherent charm and beauty.
"What exactly is an Oracle?" inquired Sonic, his curiosity piqued. "You never did explain."
Asahi responded with a knowing smile, “I chose not to call us heroes or pro heroes; that would be far too cliché. Instead, everyone will be known as Oracle plus a code name. Like you can be Oracle: Flash and Fubuki can be Oracle: Wind. Any other questions?”
Alise chimed in, her voice brimming with enthusiasm, "This place feels a tad cramped! When will we be relocating?"
"Our new headquarters is nearly complete," Asahi reassured her. "Just give me a few more days."
Yuriko's thriving business had generously financed the construction of a new base for the Order. Although she wasn't physically present, she did everything in her power to support her family.
Meeting silence, Asahi nodded decisively. "Now, let's save any further questions for a later time."
