Been thinking about sci-fi space themes a lot lately and need help!

Or even ideas for a possible space alien or adventurer oc ? I’m not really into gruesome types or into super dark things But more fun space stuff like the unexplored wonders type sci-fi!!
I have some landscapes that I’m thinking about that would be fun to try and emulate a unknown planet on!!

It was basically sci fi and fantasy races combining (space orcs, advanced cybernetic elves etc) stuck in an ironically quarantined space port on a planet due to alien dna being stolen from a science team. Might help give some inspiration
