Crimes of Passion, Crimes of Fashion (commissioned)
Added 2025-01-26 22:00:00 +0000 UTCThis was the second biggest from my batch of commissions this January, and it's from The World Ends With You, one of my all time favorite game series. Set in modern day Shibuya, four young fashionistas have been caught in a store robbery, along with the fetching shopkeeper. They'll have a long night in store for them if no one comes to the rescue! It was a real challenge making this picture, from the ultra-stylized linework, to all the subtle details and callbacks in the background. The online wiki was a major help in gathering the necessary references, which far exceed what I was able to find a decade ago. Big thanks to Gidnapper for financing this work!
