Flirting With Peril (commissioned)

This one was drawn for Obnoxious Wobbegong, featuring Excellen Browning of the Super Robot Wars franchise, and his original character Augustine. A giant robot pilot/sniper and a mechanic, caught and stashed away together. I tried to get the styles to mesh together as best I could for this one. I've done characters from the SRW series in the past once or twice, despite not really being familiar with the franchise.

Crimes of Passion, Crimes of Fashion (commissioned)

This was the second biggest from my batch of commissions this January, and it's from The World Ends With You, one of my all time favorite game series. Set in modern day Shibuya, four young fashionistas have been caught in a store robbery, along with the fetching shopkeeper. They'll have a long night in store for them if no one comes to the rescue! Woebegone Witches (commissioned)

This one's for Iondall, who commissioned a drawing of Aoko and Alice from the FATE franchise, or more specifically from the visual novel Witch on the Holy Night. I used softer, less saturated shading to better match the source material this time.

Shooting Their Shot (commissioned)

For GhostAuthorZero, here's Ann Takamaki and Mika from the Persona 5 game. Clearly this was not the sort of photoshoot they had in mind... Considering how popular this game is, it was hard to find good references of the specific outfits shown here, so I had to wing it a bit. The little flourishes of color here and there gives the characters an edge that we don't often see. As usual I did my best to convey that style.

Flowers Blooming In Adversity (commissioned)

Here's another commissioned work for Scuri, featuring three ladies from the Sakura Wars reboot, and designs from Tite Kubo, famous for his work on the Bleach series. From left to right we have Anastasia Palma, Hatsuho Shinonome, and Clarissa Snowflake, duressed and undressed by demonic forces. I thought I'd make my own alterations to their undergarments as they were presented to me, to better reflect their personalities.

Jubilee In A Jam (commissioned)

Commissioned for Iron117prime, here's Jubilee of the X-men, based on Amelia Vidal's designs for the animated series. Another PNG image that can be placed on any background with the right image editing software. Comic book superheroes get redesigned all the time, and the same character can often have dozens of iterations, due to the nature of the industry. Deciding which one to use for illustration work is tricky at times. Which artistic style do you prefer?

Out of the Bag (commissioned)

This one is for BoundCapybara, another commissioner from January's set. This time we have Callie Briggs from the old SWAT Kats cartoon, with an extra blindfold variant image. War Bonds

A quick color rendering of a sketch that's been on my HD for some time, here's Lady Jaye and Scarlett caught by the evil COBRA forces. My memory of this show is kind of spotty, actually, and I suspect this was originally supposed to be an old commission that never quite got off the ground. I lost my old emails from that time so I don't know who originally made the request.

Shipping Trouble, Packaged Double (commissioned)

Another requested commission, this time for more Pokemon character art. All DID/CID art and media has a romantic element IMO, at least in some small part. So this too could be considered a type of "ship," as it were. Thanks to JIR1547 for giving me this opportunity.

Alternative Measures (commissioned)

Here's something a bit different, and this time, the commissioner requested a ludicrous number of gag alts that ended up costing more than the base character art. Kana Kimishima, from the anime Kiseijuu (localized as Parasyte: The Maxim) has been stashed away somewhere, possibly to keep her out of trouble? All variants are available as transparent PNGs, to be used at your discretion.

Comrades at Arms Length

Starting off the new year with another old sketch, revisited and remade for today's audiences. This piece features Virginia and Maya from Wild Arms 3, yet another game in my compendium that I never got around to completing. These feisty fillies of Filgaea have been caught and locked away in an old, hidden storeroom. Can they put aside their differences and escape? It's always fun to have two rivals getting into mutual trouble, and it's one of my favorite themes for this trope.

Danger at Every Turn (commissioned)

This piece was brought to you by Sparkster26, who requested to have JC from the comic series Danger Girl be captured and taped to a chair. For this piece, I used some line shading techniques I haven't done in a while, to give the illustration a pseudo comic page feel. Getting the shadows to look right was challenging, especially for Sydney (the brunette) and took a lot more time and references than I planned. It's hard to pick favorites with so many cuties from this long running series, but the main females from the Pokemon Ranger games definitely have a spot at the top of my list. Thanksgiving is my personal favorite holiday, and I'll be spending this year with food and family. But it looks like these two time-hopping adventurers have found themselves on the wrong side of a gruesome feast! Will anyone come to their aid? Here's Max and Monica from Dark Chronicle, also known as Dark Cloud 2. An underrated PS2 game where you rebuild villages, drive an massively overpowered mech, practice your golf swing, and take pictures of literally EVERYTHING.

This one's my first attempt at working with variant clothing alts for a drawing, and I think it turned out well. There's a lot of planning involved in the early stages of this kind of work, and when you make a mistake, it can end up costing a lot of time to fix. It's almost more difficult than doing two separate drawings in some respects, and I'm sure there are other ways of doing this kind of work that are more efficient.
