Miscellaneous notes 1/2024
Added 2024-01-19 04:54:50 +0000 UTCMy personal tweets have been getting fewer and fewer lately, and my Free as an individual has become questionable, so I'll write miscellaneous notes like this when I remember.
At the moment
Kitsune and the background are in progress.
I'll talk about the background next time!
Kitsune is a character created by programmer pikixu.
It is difficult to combo with his strong power, and it seems to be very dependent on the opponent for damage, such as counters and ujimi.
I'd like to incorporate the rough performance proposed by pikixu into the game and try to follow the concept little by little.
I was surprised to see that the game has been followed by chemists, and I wonder if it has stuck with chemists.
After all, it's important to be unique in a gaming game!
I have in mind a design that can only be seen at E'sLaf, and I'd like to keep thinking about it.
One of the weak points of my character design is that I don't know what kind of girls are cute... and I'm not interested in them.
At least I don't prefer heroines from Japanese anime, I prefer Marisa and Manon.
The rest are Major General Armstrong or Gaia from FF14...
In the Japanese community of FF14, Gaia Busaiku! Lean cute! I often see posts like "Lean is cute!" and I feel that my tastes are out of sync with the world.
Kitsune and Alcott's roles are sometimes overlapped, so I'm planning to rework Alcott.
I want to make Alcott a little more distinctive.
I think it's important for him to have a weapon, like the SAMURAI SHODOWN or Vega.
The weapon is a piano.
In a roguelike game called Elona, you can choose to be a pianist, which means you can play and carry a lot of stuff.
I remember that the description says that the pianist is good at lifting weights because he always has the piano with him.
I am always a pianist when I play, so I thought I would make this into a gaming game!
I also want to make Serena... there is so much to do!
I have the graphics in mind, and the weapon will be a lamppost instead of a sword.
I think it could have a wider gimmick as a movement, and also suggest a connection to Main since he can't use fire, but his weapon is lit on fire.
There is a fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen about a man who reflects his fantasies onto fire, and I wanted to connect that to Serena's alter ego.
And Serena is wondering if she should have big breasts.
She's short and glamorous.
In other games, such as Narumea.
I know that "transistor glamour" is a popular sexual preference in Japan, but how about in other countries...?
My thighs are definitely thicker than the rest of my body.
I have a lot of things I want to do and a lot of work to do.
I've decided what I want to do first and foremost, and if there's enough time, I'll work on other things little by little.
I have some plans in my head for implementation, but it's hard to implement them all at once...
I do all the data input after programming, but it simply takes time.
Checking the actual device after inputting the data is also very hard.
If I implement the program all at once, the number of tasks will increase too much, so I ask for additional programs when tasks become available while I work on them in parallel, little by little.
Personally, I would like to add a gallery.
I have a lot of rough images, and I'd like to include setting materials, background object descriptions, etc.
Right now, I'm working on a video of the two Tina's command lists...
There are many parts of the program that are not yet officially designed, so I'm putting it on hold for now
Comments
thank you! Basically, we emphasize originality and differentiation through unique designs and gimmicks. I want to be careful not to overdo it and lose the player's interest.

2024-01-23 17:17:48 +0000 UTCI Absolutely adore the ideas for Serena. As much as I love Sword Girl Serena, her using a lamppost sounds super cool, especially with how her current gimmick works with the after images. Alcott being a Pianist/Bard while also being a super strong guy sounds like It would be fun to play around with too. I've always enjoyed your aesthetic choices so I can't wait to see what else you do or who else you add.

2024-01-19 16:34:28 +0000 UTCI assure you “transistor glamour” is very much a preference that exists outside of Japan. I’m a westerner and I love the Draph designs in Granblue. Furthermore, I wouldn’t worry too much about your aesthetic sensibilities, every bit of art from your game looks great. Don’t doubt yourself.
