The Babylon Bee Guide to Wokeness

This review is a bit on the lighter side as it was a challenge to find anything interesting to say about this book aside from the observations I made in the video.

Larger pieces about conservative comedy have already been made, and this is meant more as application of those ideas rather than breaking new ground. That said, I did find a few things in here that I'm pretty sure I was the first to notice. Particularly the bits at the end.

Also, if anyone has a question they would like me to answer at the end of the video, please leave a comment under this post! You can also message me directly if you'd rather not answer it on here. I won't be using anyone's name, unless you'd like me to, so let me know if you would when asking your question. I may even answer more than one if I have trouble choosing. My preference is for questions about this particular video, but feel free to ask me anything.

The next video is well under way in production. I'm taking a break from writing it to write this post in fact! Barring any copyright shenanigans, it's going to be another sitcom retrospective, and so far it's shaping up pretty nicely.

Thanks again to everyone for all your support!

Love your videos. And I have to say that no one does comedy and satire as bad as conservatives do. It's like they really don't have a good sense of humor. Maybe it has something to do with their brain function. Who knows? But these are also the type of people who think farting in public and making funny faces is the height of comedy. But my question for you is, do you really think they believe what they write about "woke" people? That those who call themselves woke really are irrational, hypocritical snowflakes? Or is this just their way of trying to make those on the Left look as bad as possible so conservatives don't have to take our concerns seriously? Thank you!

Honestly, bad comedy is just about the least entertaining kind of media to me. At least, bad political takes can be so bad they're funny, but bad comedy is inherently unentertaining. What I'm saying is, this video is great, as always, and I enjoyed it a lot. For a question: Why do you think the Babylon Bee is so weirdly obsessed with Elon Musk specifically? They can't seem to go for a month without mentioning him, and as you pointed out, they even drew him (badly) for this book.
