Today I made 3 animations of enemies being eaten for the late halloween animation
To finish the animation I need another 3, and a new animation of Pherl eating, and 3 after eating animations
The music has been completed, it is very good
And I made some advances in the background I will use
Now lets see the KO feature
it is what happens when the eating animation of some character gets interrupted (Pherl, Lilac and Oliv)
The enemy gets released, but it is too stressed and weak to move, so they will just lay in there, breathing and moving a bit.
if the player doesn't re-eat them, a nurse enemy "Aiby" might reanimate them back to normal.
There are another way of spawning a KOed enemy, I thought in this feature very carefully, having in mind feature-creep and game balance:
Most of enemies would have a melee attack that is a kick to the stomach, that would immediatelly force the player to spit out the last enemy they ate
Depending on how many time has passed between eating the enemy and taking the hit the enemy could be like in the image above, with their clothes partially melted, in underwear, or just bones that would break when touching the ground.
This feature would make the game more interesting since it would add extra risk to trying to catch an enemy without stunning it first, cause the kick attack would remove one bone projectyle from the player, and also decrease the hunger and health bar.
