It sometimes seems that a certain design looked just as it should from the very first time. Well, it wasn't that easy in case of Falka Armor - that is for sure. ;) Probably because I skipped the paper and pencil concept stage and decided to design it fully in 3d.
I'd like to show you the evolution of this idea with these clay models.
In the first attempts I wanted to start with a full plate and make it a bit more female. I even thought of making a female version of The Witcher Blood And Wine Tesham Mutna Armor which I really adore. But I couldn't get a nice look and proportions. Finally what really helped me to make it look better was the brigandine elements which turned the "robotic" look of the plate armor into sth. more stylish.
You've seen the gauntlets lately. I'm still working on the helmet though. I'm quite satisfied with this simple form but still thinking about something unusual in this design. Maybe you like some of these presented variants :)
