Inspirational Insights - Before The Automobile

Hey there Patrons,

In the inspirational section this time I'd like to mention an incredible costume maker - Merja known as Before The Automobile.

Her works inspired me many times. For example the 1660 gown is actually based on Merja's 17 century silver gown only with some alterations. Her victorian natural form gowns helped me to figure out the back of Helena Modrzejewska Outfit and so on.

Merja is a perfectionist and also tries to recreate the fashionable silhouettes of these historical eras very thoroughly. She also often shows a zoom of some details and materials or even insides of the garments which help to understand how things were made :D
