The Halo Project (0.35) Update:

Hey guys! HushHush here. The Halo Project 0.35 is up! This update introduces the first machinery, the AutoTrainer! It will give you guys a basic implementation of how the machinery will work. Along side of it are bunch of bug fixes and backend changes to make the game more stable.

First thing first, exclusively for Patreons, you can now use itch to download The Halo Projects! Keep in mind you will need to link your Patreon account to your Itch account in order to use the link! (Tell me if it works, I tested it, works for me , fingers crossed)

Now onto the update, for starters, the bugs. all sprites now have a resolution fix as I notice some of sprites are below resolution. Suspicion detection backend have also been rewritten now with better performance and stability. The dialogue sprite now stick around until a need to change of sprite instead of immediately going back to "intro" sprite (Give some feedback on this as it feels different). Along that a dozen or so boring bugs related to saving and outfits stuff.


On to the sweet stuff, the Auto-Trainer. This is the first crude introduction of machinery and I admit doesn't really do much right now apart of adding one scene for each target. But it will lets you testers understand how the game will grow from here. The Auto-Trainer as the name suggest will "train" the targets automatically. This free you up to corrupt other targets in the mean time. For now you can only install one Auto-trainer but the plan is you will move to a better base and expand your operation, upgrading machinery, etc.

Short walkthrough: You need to level up a Target to level 2 in order for the machinery objective to show up. Gather 1000 essence, go to the computer and order the Auto-Trainer.
