Bank Vault Catacombs

The final floor of the Grand Bank is one very seldomly visited. In fact, so little is known that rumors have run rampant. The very few known clientele have ranged from the paladin crusaders and other influential organizations, stowing what is believed to be cursed or holy relics, to some of the most wealthy and powerful families who can afford the highest level of protection for their prized heirlooms.

While these rumors often change subjects and content as often as they change hands, one has raised to the status of legend. Over decades, more than a handful of streetgoers of the night have laid claim to witnessing a dark, almost sinister procession of an occult nature. A column of fanatical figures adorned in robes, chanting in tongues, each carrying grotesque tomes adorned with bestial teeth and glowing inscriptions from which they read, proceed into the Grand Bank never to be seen again.

It's said that they travel to the bottom level. It's said, that while the procession has been witnessed going into the bank, they are never seen leaving. It's whispered, in the softest of voices, that they are helping the bank contain a threat so powerful within it's deepest vaults, that no expense is spared to keep the vaults secured. Gods help us if they ever fail.
