Our ships became our homes, and it wasn't long before our new world shared it's endless bounty. Ships laden with fishes of all kinds, fields of foreign fruits and tillable soil, a paradise we could not have imagined was being shared with a people who knew nothing but depravity, a concept as foreign as the soil. Still, every paradise cannot be free from the troubles of mortality, and we missed those who were no longer with us.
The malice and rancor of The One God lay behind us beyond the Great Seas, but still, we felt the pain of those we could not convince to come with us. It was believed nothing was beyond the Great Seas, and that we were headed towards our doom. For some, the starvation, the deprivation of all that could bring us joy, the will of an unforgiving deity with no sympathy for the plight of mere mortals, that was better than the unknown, the true leap of faith the Prophet demanded of us.
Now, we exist in gratitude of this world that is sharing itself with us. We lay no claims to ownership, but are grateful for it's blessings, and for our resilience and steadfast faith that led us here, even in the face of great uncertainty and turmoil."
