"But, as with all things of import in this world, their legacies perpetuate their own worth. And a place so worthy, with history both grueling and prosperous, fosters notable attraction. After many years abandoned, the Keep found itself under the care of new caretakers. This was a momentous occasion for many reasons, but most notably due to the circumstances which breathed life back into it's broken walls.

An alliance between nations, both which fought and laid waste to each other on the Keep's very walls, the terms of which were cemented in mutual investment. Two noble families joined houses, pledged each to their nation of origin, with the purpose of safeguarding the newfound peace between their lands. What once was a bastion against the wilds, now the physical embodiment of a pact, a promise of prosperous times to come. As such, the investment was made to match.

The finest stonemasons and craftsmen from both lands were contracted to begin the reconditioning. Of course, all promises require fulfillment, no matter the cost. Though, it is said that promises of prosperity often attract a less auspicious audience, and such a noteworthy position of power can spark envious avarice in those who would covet the notoriety of such positions."

Second map in this series for you, the fort on the mend. Stone masons have set up shop and are busy making this fortification good once more.

I've also included and underground maze of tunnels to go with this map to give you all an extra layer - I'm sure they'll come in handy with the next release, the finished fort! :)
