Trapped Under Ice

Hey All, 

Brrrrrrr - so I know some of you will be pretty excited about the new Rime of the Frost Maiden release. So yesterday a whole host of us D&D makers released a rather large pack of snow maps, music, items and minis for everyone to enjoy. 

And here for my patrons only, you get a chunk of variations to go alongside it. :) 

With this map I was taken with the idea of a fallen Angel, one who was found stealing a mighty frozen blade and as punishment now must hold on to it for eternity. Not dead but banished from service they are stubbornly clutching their frozen blade that they fiercely protect. 

If the adventures try to smash open the ice flow to take the blade a raging lightening storm grips the region with ragged shards of ice skewering up from underneath as the trapped Angel tries to protect their prize. 

I also had fun with the variations - perhaps the players pass the frozen Angel by only later to see that the ice is now broken and the Angel missing. Or they're currently traipsing through a hellscape and come across the body oddly untouched and partially submerged in lava ... anyway, just a few ideas for you to play with :)
