Times, they are a-changin'

Hello fantastic Patrons & Followers, 

First up I’d like to say a huge thank you to my supporters over the past year. 

Now, I’ve been threatening to overhaul my Patreon page for months and I’ve finally carved out enough time to do it. So bear with me, there’s a fair bit of information to share but hopefully it’s full of exciting goodies. 

Existing Patrons.

I hear ya, change is scary, if you like things the way they are then don’t worry you don’t need to do anything. I’m going to ‘Unpublish’ the tiers you’re on which means no new patrons can sign up to them. 

So if you do nothing you will continue to get the benefits listed for your tier.

However, if you like what’s on offer in the new tiers you can alter your pledge and join the new tier easily enough. 

What’s Changing?

Over the past couple of releases I’ve been experimenting and offering extras in the form of weather variations, asset packs and other things alongside the regular map to see what y’all like. I also put out this poll to get some direct feedback on what you would find useful.

From what I’ve learned I’ve devised the following new tiers, they are a balance of offering something for everyone against the time it takes me to fulfil those rewards. Hopefully you’ll like what you see.  

The Why.

When I started this over a year ago I didn’t know half of what I do now and just wanted to see if anyone would even be willing to pay for the maps I make. Well it turns out you fantastic people are just that crazy! 

But my initial tiers didn’t take into consideration a lot of things, one of them being just how long it takes to make a map. I like to think I’ve improved over the year but with it so has the amount of time I put into each map making sure each is better than the last. Ultimately if I’m to keep making these maps I need to change things up and what better way than offering more rewards? 

What else is changing?

For now? Not a lot. I have a good number of collaborations in the works and some other DnD related crazy schemes in my head outside of maps that I’m looking to work on in the coming year. 

I will be sticking to no more than 3 releases a month which means I can maintain quality whilst producing a good number of maps and variations for you all.

If this is you, please, let me know! I’m kind of nervous about doing this restructure but I put the ideas to the vote for you all before doing this so hopefully this isn’t a giant misstep.
