Heavily laden branches bend under the weight of fresh snow. A soft “flomp” sounds as one of the trees sheds its load to the floor.
The air is chill and fresh. The light just fading as you spot the remains of a camp up ahead before a small rock face. It looks like it might be a good place to rest up for the night. But as you approach the flickering fire of the camp shows the snow around the camp is stained crimson red and a low, belly turning, growl comes from the top of the rocks…”
Hey all!
Lets start this year properly! More maps, more collaborations and more content for you all to use in your campaigns. This map is winter nighttime camp fun for the whole party! Slaughter your players in the beautiful silent frozen countryside. Yetis or Winter Wolves are a great winter themed enemy that’d work well here.
With this map I wanted to work on the feel of a blustery snow scape, to get this feel I loosened up my brush work and style. Which was difficult for me as I'm used to being more 'controlled' but I'm glad that I did as I feel like I learned a lot. With the next map I'll bring in a bit more control and we'll see what comes out of that one!
