“The stairs you descend lead to a large carved out cavern, tall pillars rising up to hold the ceiling. The musty sent of dust mingled with decay greats you as you step on to the rough stone floor. Coffins line the sides of the chamber, plain marble with gold inlay that lead up to a set of heavy double stone doors.
Supposedly the heads of the house rest beyond with their wealth. As you approach the doors wearily you hear the faint grating of stone on stone. Looking back you see one of the coffin’s lids is ajar ... was it always like that?”
Hey all,
So this can either be level two of the crypt or the first and only level if you prefer. The idea I had here was that the first chamber is filled with house guards of the family which where buried as a mark of honour for their years of service.
The double doors that pass the vicious hidden spike trap leads to a false tomb of the heads of the house. Here people could come and pay their respects during the day, but at night it was all locked up and any potential robbers would find nothing but traps and empty tombs.
The hidden room to the north is where they are really buried, here their descendants could com in peace and either add or take from the family coffers.
To the south is a forked tunnel, this is clearly more recently carved and leads who knows where.

So just as a heads up my iPad goes in to be repaired this weekend - so there is a very good chance that there won’t be a map for a week or so whilst I wait for it to return. During that time I’ll be setting up a couple of other things and when I get back I know I owe you all a free map and I have a collaboration coming along with it.
But more on that later. As always, let me know what you think over on the discord - https://discord.gg/5H6ZtbX
