50ft across the giant devil skull lies staring at the red sky. It’s eye sockets oozing a ceaseless stream of lava down it’s sides, weeping at the injustice of it’s fate.
Supposedly their quarry lay beyond the jaws of the skull itself and down the seemingly endless staircase ... beneath the lava field itself.”
Hey all,
Here’s the next in the Hellscape series I’ve been working on. It’s been really good fun working out the different elements and bringing them together to make something that works. I wanted an otherworldly, crazy scape that also felt a bit lived in and abandoned - hence the broken metal bridges and planks. Who knows what creatures make use of this space and what lies in wait for any adventurer who enters the endless staircase below.
