As far as Trainwreckords goes, I would request Lulu, a collaboration album by Lou Reed and Metallica. As ambitious as it sounds (considering that it was Lou Reed's final album before his passing and they liked working together), the reception from listeners, especially from Metallica fans were overwhelmingly negative.

Exactly that was a bit weird. Or don’t bother putting a picture of a 13 year old child at all? Seriously, we don’t need a visual reminder of what a kid is to understand how fucked up this guy’s fame is, and how shameful it is Nicki Minaj makes a concerted effort in her life to support pedophiles and rapists.

You might want to fix up the sound mixing on this one. It gets really loud when the song comes on and quiet when you're talking.

This isn't a "correction" per se so much as feedback to consider: I imagine that we don't know the identity of 6ix9ine's 13-year-old victim since she's underage, but the image that you chose to represent an innocent 13-year-old was a blonde white girl. Young girls of color are much more likely to be seen as older than their age, more sexually available, etc. and are more likely to be the victims of these kinds of crimes. Perhaps an image of a (more diverse) group of young girls might get the message across in a way that does not subconsciously equate blonde, blue-eyed whiteness with with innocence?

I started this video thinking this would be similar to the “Turn Up the Music” / Chris Brown review (which I liked a lot), but I’m honestly kind of shocked at how restrained and blasé the tone of this video is. I think that has more to do with how exhausting the last few years have been, compared to 2012. Still, wonderful review!

I don't listen to much modern rap or pop music in general to care about the appeal of this guy. But we clearly shouldn't have to put up with him as a person. I'd be willing to have Iggy Azalea and Robin Thicke back if we can get rid of this guy.

I totally got 6ix9ine's sonic appeal. He's a modern day crunk artist in a time where we don't have those. It's unfortunate that his lyrics are terrible and he's a complete scumbag. He's absolutely the (very) poor man's Lil Jon. Why didn't we just keep Lil Jon around again?

It's funny you made that Marilyn Manson comparison, because Manson had a similar chart plummet as his influence started to wane; Golden Age of Grotesque debuted at #1, and then plummeted to #21 just the following week. It was the lowest selling #1 album of that year. And Manson basically fell into irrelevancy after that.

i'm a bit surprised you liked this song, but after hearing it I see why, in these troubling times I can totally see the appeal of a "middle-finger-in-the-air" "Don't give a fuck" song like this. Plus it's one of the only music videos this year that feels normal(I.E. years from now you won't be able to tell it was shot during the pandemic).

answer to why trollz got no 1 and then dropped like a wet paper towel is simple: barbz are THE most intense stanbase and every time nicki drops a single they make sure to abuse the streaming algorithm to get it to number 1. as soon as it was confirmed for number one they stopped. the same thing happened with say so, it dropped off number one pretty quickly

Iggy didn't lose her career for being "problematic", her second album just got delayed for a bunch of reasons and she went through some personal struggles and a lot of people did genuinely like her.
