New video: Online Boundaries and Emotional Labour

Hey guys! Sorry about the late video. I had (have) whooping cough, then my computer broke, then I was out of town so I couldn’t pick it up from the store on time. The good part about having to wait to get it done is that it gave me a lot of time to think about what I see as a very interesting issue. I hope you enjoy this video about friendship, boundaries, and labour.

Are you in the right headspace to receive a comment that, while contains a positive reaction to your video, might also go off on a tangent a bit? So this was really good, and I love that you're doing videos on this subject, it's pretty important. I feel that in general, it's just polite to never even expect constant availablility from anyone online... like, that's what I'd consider being friendly and accepting towards others. Whether you're close friends or not shouldn't really matter. If you're not an emergency first responder, it should be considered OK to just... reply a bit later sometimes.

This was really, really good! The term gets thrown around liberally, and it's good to check that.

Thank you so much for including the origin of 'emotional labor'.
