This is most enlightening. However, I can't help but wonder at the choice to resort to arcane governance methods which were dug up from ancient history. One would expect that the most likely choice for the martians would be to incorporate as a new corporation, as the simplest and most familiar solution. Alternatively, given the collective and egalitarian tendencies of the Martians, one could expect them to tend to cooperative or communal structures from ancient times as a model.
