I felt very bad for Pudding, I never ship Sanji and her before but now maybe a little, but actually in my opinion, Sanji isn't in love with her, not how she is with him. I hope they'll meet again someday, or she'll find someone as kind as Sanji. And I find Brulée in the last episode, really beautifully design. Love her relationship with Katakuri. And the fact that Katakuri is not a villain make him really appreciated by the fandom. I mean, is not evil, he just defends his family and work for and with them. He was an enemy, but in another circonstances he would be an ally.

2019-10-19 07:27:01 +0000 UTCSanji's haki is interesting to me because with the way armament haki is illustrated it seems that when it's used to be visably coated it is supposed to be stronger than when you just use it as that invisible armor. So it makes you think that Sanji's armament haki is generally weaker than say Zoro's or Luffy's who more regularly coat their body parts/weapons in haki.

At face value this seems like a great idea because this arc is full of flashbacks to older scenes, and although I dreaded what happened to this arc in the anime, I thought to myself that it might not be so bad to see Allona react to it in full because of the fact that she didn't react to these scenes originally (since she started reactions a few hundred eps in). So, I know this arc can really drag with all the filler, but a lot of these scenes will be first time reactions for her. I'm sure it's probably already been edited, but if not, it's honestly not that bad of an idea to keep some of the filler in at a reduced amount. That's just my take on it.

She's just being considerate since she gave him a hard time and they're technically enemies, so she doesn't want him to think she's 100% in love with him after all. I definitely hope that we can see her again someday, though :(

The next anime arc had a specific set release date in mind that the new animators were working towards. When they got closer Toei chose to drag out the mini-arc with flashbacks for awhile to continue airing episodes up to the release date instead of adding large amounts of filler to the ending of WCI or making an anime-only filler arc.

Oda confirmed since the timeskip that he has armament haki. It's not like this was the first time he's used it lol.

Also Katakuri more then likely did vote for Brulee as favorite younger sister. A bit a trivia Smoothie, Amande, and Brulee are ranked top 3 favorite older sisters among the family.

It was the perfect way to end the arc and definitely hit the feels way more than the manga did. Toei did an amazing job with episode 877.

Which by the way is the exact opposite of what Judge and Big Mom where doing with Sanji and Pudding the entire arc by disregarding their feelings and trying to take away their freedom. One of the major themes of the arc which came full circle with that contrast. Some damn good writing from Oda this arc.

2019-10-18 00:35:18 +0000 UTCEpisode 877 has to be one of my most favorites of all of OP. The feelings and emotions it brought in one single episode was phenomenal. The song that was used was beautiful telling this summary of the arc and how terrifying being in Big Mom's territory was. Some people don't like the abrupt ending of the arc and not knowing what happened, but I personally LOVED IT! It shows us that Big Mom wasn't playing when she told Brooke "you think no one is going to die?" It was a huge warning that you can't expect to enter a yonko's territory and expect to leave unharmed or without losing anything. Yes the Big Mom pirates took heavy damage, but looking how the arc ended it was so much more different, the Strawhats didn't have a party or feast like they usually do, they were all injured or hurt emotionally and worried. It leaves that eerie feeling of how will the Sun Pirates and Germa pull it off. Toei gets crap for episodes and pacing which I understand, but this episode, I give them praise for executing it so beautifully.

And I think, Pudding probably erased the kiss, so there isn't any conflict inside Sanji regarding leaving her.

I think maybe only edit it if it's both dragging (especially repeated flashbacks) and have low quality animation is a safe bet. I think similar suggestions have been brought up by other people too.
