“You’ve said that before, but what is the purpose of the company?” Troy asked. He was a slim guy of average height. He had shaggy dark hair, and green eyes. He bounced his leg nervously as he talked to the woman.
“To make you into the perfect you!” She repeated. The tone of her voice and the smile on her face unchanging.
“I just want a clear answer please.” Troy said. He could feel a panic attack coming on. The white walls of the office began to close around him, and the sudden shock felt like he was going to die.
“Anxiety issues? We can help with that.” The lady said. Her voice was still as cheerful as ever, and her smile stretched wide, all of her teeth showing. “Please let us help make you into the perfect you!” She slid a piece of paper over the table. “We can fix you just sign here.”
Troy grabbed a pen signing the paper, still fighting the panic attack, he was barely aware of his actions, but anything to reduce the situational stress. He followed the lady into a room as the world spun around him. He sat down in a chair feeling like he couldn’t stand anymore. He watched as the lady walked over to a computer smiling and typing. He watched as her mouth moved, she was clearly trying to talk to him, but by now his ears were ringing and he vision was becoming blurry. He leaned back in the chair ready for the worse when all of a sudden he felt something stab into his neck.
Troy woke up gasping. He was in his bed at home naked. He couldn’t remember much from earlier. Did he black out? Was he just so deep in a panic attack he couldn’t remember anything?
He felt the back of his neck which was sore, he walked over to his mirror and did his best to look at his neck. It was red and irritated.
“What the fuck happened?” He asked. His mind started to flood with ideas, but he did his best to block them out; he couldn’t have another panic attack, not today. Still the thoughts kept coming and coming. He didn’t know what to do. He saw something, a mask of some sort laying on his dresser he didn’t know where it came from, but somehow deep in his mind he knew it would help. He pulled it over his head and looked into the mirror. It was a pup hood.
“Where in the hell…” He couldn’t finish his sentence as he dropped onto all fours on the ground. “WOOF!” He barked looking in the mirror. His mind cleared completely of all his stress, and all of his thoughts. He was a puppy, puppies didn’t need to think, they didn't need to stress. They just needed to be good boys. He looked into the mirror panting. He was such a good boy. He couldn’t wait for his boyfriend to come home, maybe he would give him a bone.
