Today, we are very happy to give you an update of Treasure Island!
There was yet another Engine Update (we are on the latest 5.6) and we decided to give that a shot because the performance and visual Quality are both significantly better!
And there was also one Engine Bug in 5.5 that caused hard crashes. So that is fixed with the Upgrade to 5.6 as well 💪
The perfect example for better visuals are the way better looking. There is no more noisy flickering of the shadows. That actually also improved a lot indoors. The general look improved a lot overall.

We have not had the chance to change the Gras (and some other things) with a more optimized version, but that, in Combination with Customization and Combat will be tackled next. But just with the Engine Upgrade we get, on average, around 10 frames more. Looking better and running faster is pretty amazing 💪
And we finally managed to get our Floaties to float!

New Features:
We have upgraded Unreal Engine version to 5.6, new tools and base performance is increased. Major Crash bug from Unreal 5.5 is also resolved.
Physics objects by the pool will now float in the water.
Bugfixes:
Fixed hair texture quality
Reduced footsprints sizes
Aligned dialogue Speaker Name with the UI
Refill ammo when starting a shooting range
Sunbaths display tutorials and choice again
Attempt at fixing achivements not unlocking
You can now use camera system on the Island in Studio mode
Quality of Life Improvements:
Quick Load is now on f10 by default. We decided to do that so you don´t hit the wrong key by accident because they were too close to each other.
It is now easier to interact with NPCs and collectables because the detection radius increased
Improved car controller input
Known issues :
Some NPCs can have an initialisation bug. Going away from them far and coming back can fix the issue
Some Gameplay-Animations can be a bit off, will be fixed in the next update
If your system runs out of Texture Memory, weird Squares can show up on the Terrain. Reducing the Texture quality in Video Settings should help.
Crash upon loading saved game from main menu. Loading save game repeatedely gradually degrades the game, restarting helps.
You can´t re-use Savegames from previous Versions
Incoming features:
We are progressing a lot on the customization system.
More optimisations (current optimisations come out of the box from engine upgrades, we have a lot of room for improvement!)
Proper Localisation for Chinese & Korean (Japanese is already done and with proper Quality)
Lovense integration. Oh yeah! 😉
We delivered the final Edit to the Voice Over Artists and Audio people. While I wait to hear back from them, I am doing the polishing on the rendering.
We will also probably have a trailer middle of July. So you can get excited for the Release on August 2nd 😉
I will be off next week with the Family from Tuesday - Saturday. But I will have the Mutual Penetration Clips done by Tuesday and have a scheduled Post for you for Friday then 🥳🍹
