Devil’s Backbone
Weapon (longsword), rare (requires attunement by a warlock)
You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magical weapon. While attuned to this sword, you have proficiency with it.
Bone Lance. The spinal segments of the blade launch forward, connected by stretchy sinew, to impale your enemies. When you take the Attack action on your turn, you can replace one of your attacks with a Bone Lance. Make a melee spell attack against a target that you can see within 30 feet of you. On a hit, the target takes 2d8 Piercing damage, and if it is Large or smaller, you can pull it up to 25 feet closer to you. You can use this property a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of once) and you regain all expended uses when you finish a Long Rest.
Ossuary Armor. While attuned to this sword, you gain the Fiendish Vigor eldritch invocation. A suit of boney armor grows over your body when you use this invocation.
The spine of a bone devil is a powerful reagent for nefarious craftsmanship. Some semblance of unlife still lurks within it, anguished by its diminished state. For a fleeting moment, the tortured fiend feels vile satisfaction when its new form is used to inflict pain. To this end, it will help even a virtuous wielder strike true.
