Rogue: Wildcard | New Subclass!

Rogues that live their lives on the edge and seek out joy in the unknown can sometimes develop a magical connection with Fate itself. This bond is manifested through a metaphysical deck of playing cards, which you use to observe and capitalize on Fate as you draw from it. And, while the cards themselves aren’t real, the effects they have on reality certainly are.

Rogues that find themselves in this position may have a history with playing cards or thrill-seeking through gambling. Others may have developed the connection through a gift for fortune telling, or even through a chance encounter with a deck of many things. Nevertheless, regardless of how you began playing this high-stakes game of cards with the multiverse, you don’t intend to lose it.

• Create pairs, three-of-a-kinds, straights, and flushes with a minimal hand of three cards! Sets of cards give you bonuses to your actions on that turn, so they're always changing the game!

• Use powerful wildcards to turn a hand of nothing into a powerful boon!

• Throw your cards like magic daggers!

• Get a bonus to skills with which you aren't proficient equal to the value of a card you draw!

• Be rewarded for rolling a pair of 1s on your Sneak Attack dice! Turn a low-damage roll into a high one, and even poison the target!
